| Hi i'm heyy, i found this site via a post by Catghost (her username there i'm not sure what it is here) on PixelJoint, where she had posted cape in her gallery. I though it was lovely and decided to join the site just so i could dress a spiffy avatar. ;D
The battle aspect is just an added bonus.
So hello and great to be here! : D

| I'm a sucker for pretty avatar sites, i saw your leafy wings and staff, etc afew weeks ago aswell so the cape was only an added incentive. xD
Oooo, what's happening in the winter event? How do i join events?

It's a "winter solstice event"(but it takes place after the real solstice XD)
We'll have a shop you can buy event items from with special event currency you make from posting in the forums or defeating monsters in the battle system.
We'll also have rare battle-only items you can only get from finding and defeating certain monsters. 
So yeah, all you have do to join is to show up and participate! New items will be released every day throughout the 1st week, and battle only items every week for the 3 weeks the event is open. ^^
And also - we'll have lots of contests and games in the forums so hopefully no one will get bored this time around.

@Cat: Will we be able to purchase, say, day one items on day two? Or am I misunderstanding that these "daily items" are?

| No; you can only convert copper to silver.
You can earn copper in the games, 1x1 RPGs, and music forums though. ^^
