And I'm sure you've all taken some pictures of/with your animals. So post them! I want to see all the cuteness!

I swear she's the smallest dog I will ever willingly own. She's some type of cocker spaniel mix but she's still a bit small for my liking.

I used to have two Bouvier's and THEY were massive. People actually mistook them for bears. I kid you not.

See, as much as I'd LOVE a huge dog.
I prefer the medium-large type.
I'd consider my dog a medium-small.
Labs/german shepherds/etc.

Yea, I went from those two (I swear, they yanked my arms out of their sockets when I took them for a walk) to a tiny little Schnoodle.
I think I like the big dogs though.

yea...I'm always scared I'm gonna sit on a sleeping dog, and then it'll never shut up. Not that small dogs EVER shut up...at least big dogs aren't as excitable.

There was this picture circling around the internet not too long ago. It was a weiner dog that could fit into a hot dog bun.

Yea...not kidding. I could punt that thing over my backyard fence if I wasn't worried that the wind would blow it right back in my face.

About small dogs:
I don't mind the ones that were "made" for a job that required them to be small (like small terriers, made to hunt small animals).
Small dogs that can't even walk on the ground because they can be crushed by anything...

I call them breafkast doggies, because my Bouvier could eat them for breakfast. Or snack doggies, depending on the exact size.
