Oh, BTW, the main currency here is silver. Gold is the donation currency (the thing you get from donating real money to the site; 1US$ = 10 gold = ~1000 silver) and is used to buy special items. Just telling you 'cause your price seems a bit high.

Hm, I'm not sure, but I think once you open a trade with someone, you need to go back to the trade thing, and then it will show both inventories (yours and the items of the other person), and then you need to mark the things you want to send and/or enter the money. And then you accept it, and then it sends a message to the other traders... or something.
My trade screen says I have an open trade with you, but the system never sent a message, and blah, I never really check the trade page unless something tells me I should check it

Anyway, I entered all the items against 1 silver, since I donated the money to you earlier. So you just need to accept it... I think.And then it should be fine.
