My name is Maria but you can call me by my username if you wish, and I am proud to say that I have just joined this brilliant site. I'm a little nervous about posting a welcome thread, but once I get comfortable I'm sure you'll be seeing me everywhere. >.gif) Especially since there is so much to do and learn, and all of these people to meet!
So, now I suppose it's time I start going into a bit more detail about myself...? Well, I'm a seventeen year old female, who is said to still look like she belongs in middle school. OTL I suppose it has to do with my height, which is a disappointing five foot, but oh well! I get average grades in school and I'm going to be a senior this year. Gasp! After which, I'm hoping to get into an art college/university I've had my eye on. I would like to describe myself as somewhat adventurous and I want to really experience the world!
Some things on my bucket list include, but are not limited to:
` Backpack across Europe
` Volunteer in a third world country
` Scuba dive (with, or without sharks, or some other dangerous sea creature)
` Move to another country
` White water raft
` Learn to snowboard & surf
` Teach English to someone
` Change someone's life
` Participate in a horse race of some kind (I have only been on a horse about... twice in my whole life... xD)
There are dozens of other things I want to try and do but I could go on for hours. It's odd, I'm usually not this talkative on intros. Okay, just a little more information and I'll wrap it up.
