MP3 Players Advice/Help?

Soo I had this MP3 player for the LONGEST time. I think it's been maybe 3 years at least?
Well it was stolen. Or lost, not really sure. But some guy I know ended up getting it, after my friend saw it and told me she had seen someone with a mp3 player just like mine. I confronted him, for him to tell me that "Oh, it was at his dad's house and he left it there and hasn't been there in a while."

Basically, i think he sold it for a cheap buck. With is stupid because no one will be able to use it, no one will have the cord for it.

It was the Samsung Yp-K5, and it was the best MP3 player I've ever used, becuase it was reliable. And now I have to find a new one. Does anyone know any Samsung products like it that are really good? Or just a good one in general?
My mom had gotten the newer version, the S5, but that one's definetly not as good, so I'm afraid to buy the YP- Q2 that I've been looking at.

Anyone good with technology and can help me?

I'm not that good with technology, but I always had Sandisk (Sansa) MP3 players and never had any problem with them.
Right now I'm using a Sansa View (8GB). It plays music nicely and all, which is pretty much all I need anyway.

It's not Samsung, but I've always found my Creative Zen MP3 player reliable... They're a little more on the steep side of prices though.
That little Sansa looks pretty sweet though, for people who don't give a damn about all the annoying little extra add-ons (like me), glad you're not going the iPod route

Ohh iPods aren't for me. Especially considering how anti Apple my brother is ^^'

I loved how different it was, thats what made it great!

I've never heard of the Zen, but it looks nice.
