| Hii everyone.
I wanted to know what everyone's thoughts are about halloween.
It's now october 2010 so that means halloween is on it's way.
Do you celebrate halloween? do you dress up? Are you gonna
trick or treat? It are all things that interest me.
Also, did you experience something weird last year? or are you
afraid for scary things to happen this year? or maybe you don't
believe in haunted things around halloween. Just tell it all.
What was your funniest halloween experience? Your saddest?
your most boring? anyways, just tell me whatever has to do with
halloween.
If you wanna know about things i've experienced with halloween,
or want to experience, you just have to ask. But if i will answer,
who knows.
SHOOT!

| Halloween is my favorite Holiday ever. I love carving pumpkins, making my own costumes and and the CANDY!
om nom nom :>
I used to take my cousins and we'd go all over the neighborhoods trick or treating.
Not sure if we'll ever get to do it again though, as they might be doing something different this year for the younger one.
I haven't even carved a pumpkin yet. Or even bought one for that matter. "OTL
(because tiny pumpkins don't count lol)

| I'll be dressing up as a teru teru bozu and my boyfriend will be a ninja. XD We're going trick-or-treating together, no doubt.
I'll be eighteen by then. My first Halloween as adulthood and I'll still be trick-or-treating.

| They have age restrictions on trick or treating in my town. and it ends really early.
I've been making decorations and some of them are super creepy and awesome! Like I took a broken faerie lawn ornament (her leg was broken and there's no way to fix her that is worth the effort) sprayed her black while blocking out skeletal stuff and she looks really old and evil.
I have the two days before Halloween off so I'm assuming that I'll be working Halloween day. I should get home in time to see some of the later trick or treaters, and maybe go out if I have friends wanting to do that. but I have a feeling I'll just be watching horror movies or something. I have a feeling work won't even let me wear a costume hat either.

| my worst halloween? aha. haha. that would be... halloween 08.
me and my boyfriend had broken up just after my 18th birthday (october 11th) and on the 31st he was on his way back from a visit to an old friend, and on his way home he stopped off to visit me.
i tried to get him back. but... as well as rejecting me, he was like a completely different person, a total asshole. it really freaked me out.
naturally after he left i was super upset.
my good friend Jade forced me to come to another friends party, she said "the only thing worse than going would be not-going" and she was right. so i went, and drank, but mostly ended up sat outside chain-smoking all night.
bad times.
:P
halloween usually ends up being depressing for me, which is a shame because i LOVED it when i was younger. nowadays, it just feels like the lead up to my personally cursed month: november. OTL

| I normally try to do something, but I don't think that we will be doing much this year. We are a bit strapped for cash, so I doubt that we will give candy out. We will probably just buy something for ourselves and watch some scary movies.
I have a 20 month old, so I will probably be doing the trick or treating thing next year. He's still a little to young for it now in my opinion.

| I did not dress up for Halloween last year, my friends and I usually have a small get together every year for Halloween but last year it was not much just lunch and The Wolfman, the new one at my house. Usually it's my bestie's house but she was not available on actual Halloween so we did it the Friday before since we get together every Friday and my place anyway.
I dressed up for the get together last year, we all did, I was a vampire. but before then I had not dressed up since my senior year of high school in '05. my bestie had been away in college for four years so I had no reason to really.
Honestly as sad as this is for me to say Halloween does not give me much to look forward to anymore. I am too old to Trick or Treat, so yeah. I hung out with my aunt last year as she followed around my twelve year old cousin and her friend and I noticed that the Halloween spirit is really dying around here since I was a kid. Not nearly as many houses were giving out candy or doing all these great decorations as during my childhood. I noticed in particular this one house that used to go all out, they have a walkway up to their door and there would be cobwebs and skeletons and lights. And this man would sit there with the candy bowl in his lap dressed as some kind of zombie or something and would scare you when you reached into the bowl for a candy. I remember their house back to when I was a kid. last year though, NOTHING! They're house was dark and no decorations. This was the first I had seen their house dead, although I have not been around in years so they could have stopped years ago I suppose. Plus the crowds of kids around the streets that used to be around in my childhood are not around anymore either. There were so few kids out last year.
Halloween back during my childhood was much more alive and full of spirit. Those were the good old days and I miss them.
