Health and Mana Potions can be bought at the Magick and Novelties store. As their name imply, they are used to restore your health or mana during a battle.
Some special items are also usually referred to as potions, like the 5 dragon potions that give you one of the dragon bases (Mystical Ice Dragon Potion, Sacred Sake of the Wind, Nectar of the Earth Dragon, Essence of the Water Dragon, Forbidden Elixir of the fire Dragon). Those can be found in the marketplace, if you are lucky and someone is selling them.
