I really love the Thank You Shirt, and I don't think it needs to be re-released or anything. It was after all a special items made to thank the first users. Like the Thank You Headband and Midorea Balloon were later on to celebrate reaching certain amount of members and posts, or the old event and BMI stuff that nobody sell anymore.
Though, having some similar shirt in different colors could be nice.

Yeah, I would be kinda annoyed if they re-released the shirt..
The whole meaning behide it would be ruined.

I kinda love that shirt since it's a bit smaller than the other T-shirts, which can be nice if you want to layer it with other things. So some smaller shirt in lots of different colors could be nice. Maybe just don't have the Midorean logo on it, and no similar blue one, so that the Thank You Shirt still looks special...

its an item that was a gift for people who joined on opening day, and the beta testers i think. so, possibly the rarest item on the site? id imagine it is, anyway.

Only about 75 of those shirts exist, and inactive users drive that number even further down. I hate it.

I own two of those shirts, myself, so it's not sourness at not having one either. I just don't like elitist/prommie items or features.

chu - i can see what you mean about that stuff, but i guess its kind of unavoidable, in a way. anything thats only available for a limited time is doomed to become super-rare eventually, as the site gets bigger. i just think its a shame when rares get sold/traded to users that dont even stick around once they buy them x.x

I don't have a problem with rarity, but it just bothers me that the shirt is basically THE symbol for a Midorean oldbie. Despite the fact that it's not nearly as stunning as most of the items around, anyone seen wearing it is gawked at like a God. Bleh.

hmmm i can see what you mean. but saying that, it seems like most of the people who own them are either inactive anyway, or theyre active but never wear it anyway, hehe XD

This is true. For some reason, I just REALLY hate elitism. But it causes competition and interest, which can be good. I just don't like seeing the shirt worn for a status symbol.

Regardless, Cat said something about re-releasing them for very special jobs before, so maybe there will be some huge prize or beta testing thing to help distribute them.
