This will be a nice hangout for those of us who wish to talk about musicals we have seen in the past. It will also serve as a comunal place to give advice to actors on their skill. We will talk about audition processes and other things that musical theatre needs in order to be here in this world.

So my school is doing the musical Once Upon a Matress. I'm pretty sure that we will be doing the audition process next week but I'm not exactly sure. I want any part of the show. I love it anyway.

I haven't done any form of musical theater since my junior year of high school. And that was Les Miserables.

Here's Javert's Suicide

I hated the director, though, so I never did a play after that.

Ouch. I don't think that a high school should be allowed to perform something as awe inspiring as Les Miserables.

Oh I know how that is. It used to happen all the time in my show choir with this one boy. Still does happen sometimes but not as often

Les Mis actually turned out really well. We were nominated for almost every Cappie (the High School equivalent of the Tony) for that production, except for best show and song.

But yeaah... she was a bitch.
