Alright, I was laying on the floor trying to frolock with my son. It's going well and then suddenly I have a baby butt coming down on my nose. I was on my side and my face was not turned up, so he sat on the side of my nose.

We were worried he had broken it, but luckily not. My nose, though, is numb and my sinuses feel weired and my head hearts. So..yeah. I hope that never happens again.

Anyway, anything stupid and painful like this happen to you recently?

It wasn't very recent, but I twisted my ankle after winning a game of uno.

Before ridiculing me, this was a LOOONG game of Uno. Three hours, AT LEAST. Oh yes, I was also a VERY sore winner at that time. I cheered, jumped out of my seat, and decided to jump down the two stairs that lead into the back room.

Upon landing, my ankle went out. Fortunately, it was nothing more serious than a twist. It set me up for many future ankle problems, though.

Oh man, that's funny. Both of them. Sorry you guys got hurt, but that's still funny.

There was another incident I had some time ago. My husband and I were not married at the time, and had just moved in together. So, I dropped something or maybe he did. The end result, though, was that we both bent down to pick it up and hit each others heads. It was VERY painful...but funny.

ouch, double headbutt, that sure hurts! The two motion combined and all... Confused

I think most of the injuries I got happened out of stupid accident... First scar ever at 9 months when I was walking around a low coffee table made of glass and felt face first on it (so I was told Sweat ), broken arm from running on a really high snow bank when getting back from school: did not fell off of it however, I felt on the top, so random... I broke a teeth running into a wall (the mark it left in the wood is still in my former house haha), I sprained an ankle jumping off a rock on some hiking path, I wrenched a knee showing off breastsroke to a little brother...
Lately I wrenched it again in a weird way: I was joking around, complaining to one of my brothers anout an aching ear and pretending the only way to cure it was to stick a pencil in my ear. I did it, no damage to the ear, yet when I acted relief to fool around and dropped t my knees on the ground, I jolted my knee and injured it again Laugh

I just don't get the fact avoiding random silly acts can prevent lot of trouble Laugh

Oh wow, that is a lot of random silly injuries.

I know one time I was hanging up side down from some monkey bars we had. I feel off them and landed face first on the ground. I don't know how old I was, but I was young enough that it surprises my dad to find out I remember the money bars.

Umm, got poison ivy once while playing with my cousins and pretending to use it for something...I don't remember what. Anyway, all three of us ended up with it.

Hehe, aaw... Poison Ivy, I hear it was nasty stuff.I was lucky that even with all the wandering I did in the wood as a kid, that I never came across those plants...

Do you remember if that itch or burn or hurt or anything? (yah, I'm curious Happy )

It itched, but I don't remember much aside from that. Luckily, it's the sort of thing that you only get once if the case is severe enough. Mine was, I encountered poison ivy later and didn't have a problem because of that early case.

Haha, these stories make me feel a little better about myself. XD

I don't remember anything that I did. I was a pretty boring kid. My boyfriend, though, has a lot of stories. One involves his cat, who was having a nightmare one day. Sam decides to lean down and give it a hug, but it startled the cat so badly that it woke up and bit through his lip. When he went to the hospital, he asked the doctor if he could keep the hole for a lip ring. The doctor said no. xP

Oh wow Chu. I have a couple of fairly similar stories to that.

I was very young. between 5 and 7. I'm not positive of my exact age though. I was holding one of the cats and my brothers, being mean as they were, decided that it would be a good idea to turn the vacume cleaner on while I did this. I still have the scars left by that cat when she freaked out.

The other story is this: Our cats came and went as they chose. That meant they hunted, which mean that they sometimes brought their prey into the house. I found one of the cats with a rat and I really liked all animals at the time. Of course it was scared, but I rescued it from the cat. Needless to say, it bit me. I have a scar just below my lower lip where it dips, and on the bottom of my chin, where it bit me.

oh sharky, you sure are accident prone. you must of been an adventurous kid XD

i used to get hurt a lot as a kid, just never anything more than scrapes and bruises. i was very adventurous, but i got off very lightly considering haha.

i just remember another one.
i got far too drunk celebrating my first A grade (since i was a kid, anyway) at our local pub, i rang my dad to give me and 2 friends a lift home. when he got there, i was so wrecked i opened the car door straight into my own face, nearly knocking myself out. then i spent a few minutes scrabbling around the floor of the car, thinking we still had a coupe, and that i needed to put the front seat forward so my friends could get into the back seats. they were already sat there wondering wtf i was doing. XD

Oh wow. That has to suck! I haven't opened a car door on my face, but I have done something similarly dumb.

This didn't hurt me, mind you, but I think it still counts.

I was very, very young. I was not even in school yet. When I was a child I would wake up before everyone else in the house. So, on this particular day, I found some super glue that was left on the coffee table. I did not open it, but there was just a little on the lid. It was already tacky from starting to dry, but not enough so that it did not get on my little fingers.

After I put it back down I touched my middle finger and thumb together, and I could not get them back apart again. Of course that freaked me out, but I had never been prone to running to my parents with every little injury I got. Heck, they didn't even know about this incident until I told them recently. Anyway, thinking as quickly as a five year old could, I went into the bathroom and held my fingers under the water. This would not have worked, I think, if the super glue was at full force. However, because of how sticky it was, I was able to use the water to get my fingers apart.

I suppose that was a good sign for how I would react in emergency situations. Hehe.
