Lately I've been waking up in a deep sweat..like..my back is completely wet and my hair is too..

I was wondering if anyone ever has this problem?
The house is very cold and my fan keeps me even cooler..

I was thinking maybe its lack of water...so I'm gonna make sure to drink lots of water today and see..

Otherwise I don't know..
I'm getting tired of having to shower off and wash my sheets..sweat is gross. T_T;

Do you sleep in a lot of clothes? Is your duvet thick?
My room can be freezing, but I can still sweat like a pig if I'm covered in PJs from top to toe

Could you have something on you're mind or be sub-consciously anxious over something?

I'm not sure if that would actually force you to break out in cold sweats, but maybe it's a factor.

I actually think it might be your intake of water combined with however much you have on when you go to bed.Such as pj and a thick comforter if you have one.

I used to have night sweats if I didn't cut my intake up water off at least and hour before bed. Due to I wear jammies and I have a very thick comforter that is pretty new and not worn down. Now that I cut back my water intake before bed and typically wear boxers and a tank top instead of pajama pants and a t shirt I don't tend to sweat at all.

That happens to me all the time. I sleep under a comforter year round, because it's comfy, but I have the fan blowing right on me year round as well, and I still wake up gross and sweaty. I'm also not comfortable with sleeping in the nude, so clothes under a comforter don't help, I suppose.

I always have this problem ><
The sweat is cold because of the room temperature, I don't think it means we're sick.
I suggest sleeping in cotton stuff and less in artificial... fabric... stuff. Cotton is good for letting your skin breathe, so it should help.

lol it doesn't matter how clean/hydrated you are or how cold your room is if you're sleeping under a blanket that insulates. You shouldn't deprive yourself of water. If your temperature goes up when you sleep, it's gonna happen. Just wear less and use a thin sheet. If it STILL happens then......... well, then you're just SOL I think. Doomed to sweaty grossness for all time.

I had this problem for a little while, and it seemed like it got worse the colder my room got. My problem, however, was not sweat, but was condensation from the air upstairs, which was very humid at the time. I popped in a dehumidifier and that took care of it.

This might be your problem, might not be. I suppose it depends on whether you're sure it's actually sweat or not.

I like to sleep in something super light, usually t-shirts and shorts, sometimes undies. Also, sleep in light blankets? Oh, and shower before you sleep. o_o... And when you get out of the shower, rinse off in HOT water. Happy You'll come out freezing. Lol. If you rinse off in cold water, you'll come out warm.
