I got 50 bucks from a dollar scratch off once was pretty nice. I haven't gotten any more scratch off since though can't afford even those at times.

My Mom won $300 off of a scratch off that a customer came in and bought... But then decided she didn't want it, so Mom had to buy it since it was already torn off the machine. x.x;;
It was totally worth the five bucks. She paid off my braces with it. xD

I won like 50 bucks once...but I find those things such a waste of money...if you were to simply put the money you spend on them in a jar...by the end of the year you could probably pay your rent or like...buy something really nice..

My aunt spent (dunno if she still does) like....100 bucks a month of scratch offs...maybe more..
She was one of those lost causes...she swore she would win big some day...so sad..

I have a sad, sad, scratchcard story. I put a twenty in a scratchcard machine, thinking "Oh, I'll get a dollar one, and then I'll have change for cheese fries. If I win a little bit of money, yay! If not, oh well, It was a dollar."

I realized too late that the machine refused to give change. And then I only got fifteen from them. I was very, very, VERY upset!

I've never won any money on a scratcher.. The only ones I've ever "won" anything on were ones I bought for charity from a guy on my bowling league, and those all have coupons on the ones with no "winning" stuff.

I think I won like $20 on one of those dollar scratchers once. I rarely buy them because I almost never win anything. I'd rather spend that dollar on a snack or some kind of random item at the dollar store.

I one got a call that I won a Smart, but I was so shocked and felt so guilty because I was 14, and not 18, that I immediately said: "I didn't enter the lottery" xD

Doesn't it suck that your instinct is to suspect foul play when good things happen to you? (sucks even more that you were right) Doesn't say alot about human nature does it.

I've never won more than a dollar. I used to buy them and give them to my little sister to scratch though. She was amazingly lucky at it. Give her 10 or 20 scratch offs and she'd always win 100 bucks or more.
