I rung up a woman at work named "Echo". Next day, I needed a name for a new Gaia account so I butchered the word into E-k-q-o. It stuck; you can make nick-names off it, it's almost never taken on web sites, and I only ever have an issue if a site doesn't allow 4 character names. Lol. Now it's my web identity and maybe even a business name if I ever get it official in the future.

| Aaah, so it really is Echo for both of you. I like it~
The best I ever do is either using a word from another language (eg. on another site I was Ka, ancient Egyptian for spirit) or using something from legends (hence Helen, my boyfriend is Paris...except he hasn't been here in ages. >>; )

| I used to go by an original character's name [my deviantart is unfortunately still that name lol], but now I use this one. If not Ekqo, then the rare "hopeless_romanti" or Sumira in cases where I have a female avatar. Obviously I've opted for male again, here. lol
