Hello,I is bored(on google docs,I have a lot of fanfictions and is a roleplayer just not here.............yet............)

Hey there, sonaxakai. c: What do you usually write about in your fanfictions? I follow a few that are Phantom of the Opera and Star Trek: The Next Generation based, but...yah. x3

Hi, I decided I'l parasite this board since it looks so appealing!!

Star trek fanfiction, we don't hear of that too often nowadays. (Ugh, I always get confused between Deep space 9, next generation and voyager... Next generation was with Picard and Data, right?)

As for me I'm not into fanfiction anymore (I did a few on Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis, about Mitchell and Sheppard whumping ) since I feel like I never get good results, especially not when I try writting them in english.

other than that I am into writting a webseries on Tricksters living in our modern world just like us (but for some details) yet facing the threat of a terrorist-like group of various mythological creatures. Quite a complicated story, it's a mix between fantasy used a little like sci-fi, spy and federal agent thingies and a polar-like investigation...
But one thing I like about writting this is that the narrator is a she-viper under a human appearance which teamed up with the good guys but always tries to sabotage their plans (in vain ). She's a real bitch and the story is told with her negative point of view. The only thing is: it's all in french, bwuahaha

I also roleplay with some friend on a Supernatural themed forum with hidden plots and all. It's about a small village where newcomers mysteriously disappear every years.

You're right, DrunkShark. Next Generation has Picard and Data. c: It's tied for my favorite with the Original Series.

Honestly, I could never really get into writing fanfictions. I can follow them religiously, though. xD

What are "Tricksters"? Are you referring to Supernatural (the TV series)? I'm a huge fan of Supernatural. :0 I'd totally do Dean if I had the chance.. xDDDD

I've only seen the movies with the original cast, but I'd really like to watch the series even if I heard some special effects were more funny than realistic (I understand they did not have efficient 3D computering back then so it's not their fault, but fake rocks are obviously fake rocks XD)

I follow some fanfic religiously as well, yet my fav authors stopped writing so I have nothing left to read *o*

And I'd really do Dean too if I could, he looks way yummier than Sam XD

But, nah, not really the same as in Supernatural: I decided to get inspiration from different mythologies since the Tricksters are quite common. In old african, Australian and american myths for example. Those tricksters are very often animals as intelligent as human that plays pranks (more or less serious) on humans but also on spirits or dieties and that can sometimes transform into objects or take a human form.
For example: the native of the west coast of Canada had Raven, a bird trickster that stole the sun, the moon and the stars from the spirit world and brought 'em to the humans. In some stories he ends up marrying a woman and no one objects the fact a bird ans a woman make a strange couple.
For the native of southwestern united states, the trickster Coyote did the same thing or so. There is also Anansi the trickster from West African folklore which was a man that spend most of his days under his spider form and played tricks to catch spirits...

In my webseries, Tricksters are humanoids that can take the form of their specific animal. For example one of my character is a cat: she has cat eyes only Tricksters can see (humans see some normal looking eyes when the look at her), she has a great hearing and can grow cat claws and, though she do not do so too often, she cat transform into a cat.
Most tricksters keep their human form in my story though since car, elevator, building and any normal sight in a city are made for human (try driving with hooves or try shopping at wal-mart when you are in a bird form XD). Their specific animals also affects their behaviour: the viper woman is sly and cold, one of the character, a buffalo trickster, is calm yet very strong etc.

@Sonaxakai: the title is simply Tricksters (yeah, I had no imagination for another title, plus my friends and readers kept calling it this way anyway...) At least it defines really well the main part of the theme
The only thing is: my webseries is all written in french (it's my first language) but for the episode titles and the names (since the story takes place between Boston, New-Jersey and New-York city, few of the rare places I've been before other than Canadian cities) XD

@Tolui: I know the feeling, I got so many writing project no even half done
