I've got an idea...

So, I had this random plot pop into my head this morning. A man's wife dies in childbirth with their first baby; now, stuck trying to deal with grief, funeral expenses, a job, and a baby at the same time is driving our young man crazy. Desperate, knowing he needs someone in the house to help him out, the man goes up to the first woman he finds on the street and asks her to marry him. Although she initially turns him down, the woman feels sorry for him and decides to help out. Hilarity ensues as the man and woman get to know and grow fond of each other while trying to co-ordinate taking care of a baby together and their own personal lives.

Rules/things to note:
- This will be a realistic roleplay
- No falling in love in the first month of knowing each other, and no sex in
the first month of a relationship
- If you're going to play the father and want to take the role of the baby, you must have good knowledge of child development. I will be correcting you throughout the roleplay. I can take the role of baby while you take father, if you prefer.
- Please no religion/religious references
- The girl or boy can be played either by me or by you
- Expect short posts. I don't like making long ones, and I sometimes get
bored reading long ones.

This sounds interesting, But scary thing is, some guy did something like this to me a few years ago. He didn't have a baby, but he was intent on marrying the first girl he met, and I was the unfortunate victim. It was kind of pathetic, really.

Anyway, at least it's a bit more rational with the baby aspect.

I'll be the girl, I suppose. And I would probably suck at playing a baby.

All righty. Just let me meditate on the character I'm gonna use...(I need to make more male characters...)

Heh heh heh. I should probably make more characters, in general. The only problem with me playing the guys is that the last male character I have that has any bit of development, is gay. And no matter what I do, I can't imagine him going straight and getting married.

Though, back when I played The Sims, his character proposed to a (female) vampire. Still gay, but proposed to a chick. It was a strange moment.

Haha, yeah, totally strange. My problem is that I've got more than twice as many girls as I have guys, so I've got a limited sphere to draw from.

I have the same problem with my female/male character ratio. It's quite a pain, I must say.

Yes, it is...so I've got the name of the guy I'm gonna use, I just have to sort out looks and personality.
