| Gold
Gold is the special currency received when donating to the site. For ever $1 dollar you donate, you will receive 1 Gold. This currency is used at the Temple of Gold to buy the special DIs.
Gold is a special currency here on Midorea that is received when donating to the site. By donating 1 dollar to the site, be it through either form of donating available, you will receive 1 Gold. Simple, ay?
Other ways of getting Gold are by winning special contests in certain things, such as the Art Contest during the 2k8 Halloween Event, but there are no other ways to receive it as of yet.
Gold is used to purchase the special DIs from the Temple of Gold from our beloved NPC Alu.

| Silver
Silver is the main currency, used in most shops to buy clothes, weapons, etc. You get it by posting and battling.
Silver is the main currency here on Midorea. It is used for pretty much everything on the site. All stores except for the Temple of Gold and Newbie Shop use it, and it is very easily earned.
Posting is one of the major ways of receiving silver. The longer your post, the more silver you get. Since silver is granted by account of how many characters you have in it, it helps to elaborate on your posts and make them substantially longer. However, please refrain from the use of spam-like posts. In the end, they'll just be deleted, but not doing it will save the staff a lot of time.
The use of BBCode also adds to the amount of silver since it adds a decent amount of characters, but be sure to abide by the rule of no more than 4 BBCodes per standard post.
Then, we have battling. Battling is a very great way to earn massive amounts of silver. Each creature you kill grants a certain amount of silver when killed. That number of silver is affected by many factors, such as the amount of rounds it takes to kill it, etc.
A few others exist, such as winning site-sponsored contests, but the two previously stated are the most common and easiest.

| Copper
Copper is the lowest form of currency received from posting in certain forums. This currency's used to buy things from the Newbie Store. It's worth 0.2 silver in the exchange.
Copper is the lowest and most insubstantial form of currency here in Midorea. It's gained from posting in the Music & Lyrics, Fun 'n' Games, 1x1 Roleplays, and The Storybook forums. Copper is, though, the most easy form of currency to earn. The rate of receiving Copper by posting as compared to Silver by posting is vastly higher.
Copper can only be used to buy things from The Newbie Store, and is, as such, the most limited currency to be used in the market. However, that's why it is most properly used in the Exchange.
Copper can be exchanged at a rate of 5 copper for 1 silver, making it worth 0.2 silver in essence.

| Exchanging the Currencies
The Exchange is a special zone on the forums that can be used to exchange currencies.
Currently, Copper is the only currency that can be exchanged. By simply changing the drop-down boxes to read "From Copper to Silver" and type in the amount you wish to exchange.
Copper is worth 0.2 silver, meaning 5 copper will exchange into 1 silver.

| Ditto! I love helping people, too.
It's a curse... Lots of people don't want help a lot of times and snap at you when you offer them advice or try to, ya' know, help them. T3T
As to the gold, I'm pretty much the same way. I just make really long posts (See? SEE?! Just look at this one!) and, thus, get just enough gold to satisfy my needs to have lots of items so I can make hundreds of outfits.
OwO;
So that's your plan on how to deal with your masses of silver! =o
