Hello a bit new here

Hi I'm a bit new around here clicked the link off a web comic I read cause the art was pretty. Not really sure how things work around here but getting the hang of things sort ave. Wondering if anyone could direct me to any good rpg threads been a long time since I have rped with anything outside of DnD and may take a while to get the hang of things so if anyone could direct me to any good starter rpg threads till I get the hang of things again it would be nice.

well welcome to midorea. i am not really much of an rper myself so i am sorry that i can;t really direct you to any good ones but i am sure if you look around in the theatre you'll find something that appeals to you ^_^

Hm, maybe you should check the Guild of Midorean Role-Players. It's not a role-play in itself, but it's a nice place to meet other role-players and chat and all. And I have a couple role-plays in the Theater (our role-play forum), most should be good for a newbies, though the mutant one seems dead for now... But yeah, the others are fine.

So, uh, yeah, hope you will have fun here and if you need help with anything, just ask!

I looked at a few doesn't seem my style for the time being since I don't know that much about the site yet. A lot of the rps I found are based on things I am not quite familiar with on the site yet and have to do a bit more research into. I guess I am used to playing Drow elves and Haflings a bit to much.

Anyway, if you would like to join, I'm going to start a new role-play soon. It takes place in Midorea, though you don't really need to know anything about the site to be able to play.

True but it takes me a while to work out a story concept and other ideas for my own rps in fact I haven't ran my own in about 5 years something about how addicted to detail I am.

Nah, I'm just kidding. I know making role-plays can take time. Last one I made (with other Midoreans) took at least three months, and that's only because of the main part of it was a remake of an old role-play of mine that had never worked on another site.

Though, if you don't feel like making one right now, or joining any, you could just come to the Guild of Midorean Role-Players and post your ideas and all (and chat a bit, if you want ). Maybe some other people will be interested by it and decide to make a role-play like those you like.
