How Pokemon Could Have Been (Open/Accepting)

Pokemon are not as they appear, harmless, gentle, cute. They may have been awhite ago, in the past. The TV shows all talk about peace, love, and happiness. Unity with Pokemon, however, that is non-existant. It may heve been like that a long time ago, but things change. Pictures distort, crumble, fade over time. And so does every moral once placed on people's lived.



The weapon of choice for the US Government and any gangbanger on the streets used to be guns, swords, but now that a rift was formed in dementions and Pokemon were discovered everything has changed. The weapon of choice are now the creatures that used to preech "love" and "adoration." But "capturing them all" isnt the goal of the so called "trainers." Instead, real human instinct and thoughts have taken over, and everyone with a pokemon is in it for personal gain. Others just want out of this damn place that was once "united." Now that multiple people have decided to try and "take over the world" there is no safe place for anyone.



There is a resistance that has formed that is against all other forces. The leader is a proffesor, Ironic right? He experiments on pokemon while observing their training patterns and strength increase. He gives opportunity to all that wish to help at the frontlines of the war against everyone else by offering Pokemon. His one request besides the soldiers trying not to die is filling out the pokedex, gathering any other useful data and returning as often as possible.

Recently, the professor has been experimenting with pokemon and human DNA, with that, he has created a whole new being: The Pokemon-Human Hybrid. Since the process was very hard only five teenage humans DNA were joined with the Pokemons. The rest are in the baby stage and are being birthed that way in a mechanical womb.

The Proffesor

Unfortunatly, That letter had come to late. When you arrive at the city it is in ruins, flames lick over the timber that was boats parked within the once flowing Sacremento River, while the buildings burn.

One building remains in the distance, bright, shining, and beautiful, but still omnious over the rest of the deserted city. This is the main Team Phobia headquarters, however, the only way to get in and out of the buildings is a highly secret password. The password lies in the eight emblems that the Team Phobia members carry throughout the city. Your job is to find them, and gain access to the headquarters. All will be revealed to you after you gather the emblems. For now, stick to your current objective.

Region one

Sacramento County, California.

Goal

Defeat the eight Phobia bosses! It is the only way to get information on the next region and move on!

Ari sighed when she came into veiw of the city. So much for the professors letter. This place was a dump, just like every other city that Team whatevers have been taking over. There had to be a least a billion of those stupid 'evil forces' all over this stupid planet. All plotting world domination and all that other junk. "Yeah, right." Houndoom looked up at Ari and cocked his head to the side. Ari patted his head and scratched behind his ears. "Come out Quilava." she said, releasing the Pokeball on her belt. Quilava appeared at her feet and licked her pant leg. "Use dig to scout around the city. Do NOT get caught or be seen by Team Phobia whatsoever." Quilava made a little sound and dug down into the earth doing exactly as Ari had asked. She patted Houndoom on the head, "Come one, lets find some shelter for the day. I'd prefer to only walk this place at night."

Meelia sighed as she slowly made her way through what was once a city. "Do you think he'll be here, Wartortle?" She looked down at the strange-looking turtle that was walking beside her, and it shrugged. She had wandered the states, hopping from city to city, asking if anybody had seen him. As of now, she had gotten no leads to her search. She was as lost as when she started, unfortunately.

She had made it to Sacramento after getting a letter from the Professor telling her to go there. She knew what she had to do, and maybe she could find others that were working with him to help out. Who knows? The Phobia members in this area may have the information that she is looking for. That would be wonderfully fortunate if that was the case.

Kim hovered around, several inches above the ground. She was staying clear of anyone suspicious-looking (not that there were many people) and all the while looking for allies to help her defeat team Phobia. She had very little hope though. How would she find anyone in this ex-city?
'Hey, who are you?' she asked, while moving into a defensive position, eyeing the girl and wartortle with suspicion.

'There's nothing to do around here!' Don complained to himself, his beedril humming beside him. 'Everyone's left.' Just then he heard a whimpering noise coming from inside a wrecked building. Curious, and with something to do now, Don went to go explore. He climbed up a set of dangerous-looking stairs carefully and found a room with a small boy curled up into a ball, sobbing.
'Hey, hey, what's wrong, little fella?' he asked softly and kindly. The boy looked up with watery eyes.
'My pa,' he said, 'he said to me that he would come back! And me sister's gone too! They're all gone!' He started crying again.
'There, there now,' said Don, 'You shouldn't stick around here, you know.'
'Why?'
'Because bad men will come and hurt you,' he said, and reached down to his darkball. Out came a large tyranitar. 'You see?' he said slyly, and the boy went pale.

"I'm Meelia." She smiled as she looked over the odd-looking girl that had just spoken to her. She didn't look quite human, but she couldn't exactly place what exactly the girl was. She decided not to ask at the moment, for fear of offending her.

Meelia looked over the girl's stance and smiled. "I'm not going to hurt you. Don't worry. I'm not one for wanton destruction, not like those Phobia people." She sighed. She had run into them a few times over the past few months. They were certainly getting more members to join their ranks, and that was a frightening thing. Who would ever intentionally want to harm another being, human or Pokemon? She simply couldn't fathom the concept.

Kim relaxed. She could tell that this girl was friend. 'I'm Kim,' she said with a smile. She grew serious again. 'What are you doing here? It is dangerous for anyone to be in these cities. Though I would appreciate a bit of company on my search for people to help overthrow Team Phobia.'

Shadow Ball~Dark Pulse~Psychic~Mean Look~Future Sight


Kare was up on a rooftop, lazing around in the doom and gloom of the city. He was already bored of this place because there was no one around. As rolled over he looked up at the clear sky, shading his eyes from the sun. "Ugh, I hate this stupid city." He glared directly at the sky that seemed to be touching him. "These buildings are up to high." Kare decided to get up and take refuge in a building. All the sun would do is wear him out. As he was about to step down off the building he froze. a quick vibration made it up to the building where he stood followed by a dark presence. "Future Sight" Kare said allowed as his vision kicked in he saw another horror of Team Phobia. Before him was a small child, whimpering, and next to him was a huge Tyranitar. As his vision faded he hoped that he wouldn't be too late to stop the acts that were about to be committed. As quickly as he could, Kare rushed in the direction of the place where the child and phobia member was. As he arrived he Immediate used mean look to focus Tyranitar and the trainers attention on him.

Don's eyes darted towards the person interrupting. Tyranitar growled at him. 'What are you doing, spoiling my fun?' he asked. The boy stared at them all, wide-eyed. The beedril hummed loudly on Don's shoulder. He smiled sinisterly.
'Tyranitar, use Earthquake!'
Don moved past the strange boy and jumped out of the window. He hurtled towards the ground and, a few feet before hitting, his beedril hooked his sting into his coat and flew upwards with all its might. It wasn't strong enough to stop the fall completely, but it was enough to make Don land with a small thud. He backed away from the building, knowing it would collapse any secpnd now.

Attiroce sat quietly on Grotle's back, hidden inside the bushes as he made his way along one of the many streets of Sacramento. He didn't know what he was looking for, but from what he did see, there was more to do here than simply save people of a city. The city itself needed saved. Aron sat quietly next to his head feeling the vibrations of Grotle's footsteps, a small hint of sadness filling his eyes. "It will be alright little one. We are here to help." Pulling out the letter he had received, he looked over it closely before setting it in front of Aron and pointing to the opening greeting. "My many great companions." Atti quoted, a slight smile crossing his lips. "That means there are others here like us, wanting to help. Perhaps we can find them in due time to aide in a rescue of this once living place." Giving a sigh, he tucked the letter back into his cloak, eyes shifting to the clear skies above.
