| Wow. I didn't expect to get a reply this quickly. I guess that means I'd better get my butt back into writing gear.
Anyhoo, back to the matter at hand, most of the basics will be the same. (Dreamers doing crazy things in the Waking World. Magic and mayhem. And all that jazz.) And depending on what you guys thing I may just make a few additions. The biggest one would be the addition of a secret society or government group bent on either recruiting Dreamers as specialized agents, OR wiping them out completely. (Heck maybe even both. But we'll get to that.)
Another change would be the setting. As fond as I am of the original one, I'd like to keep all options open. I'd be just as fine keeping things out away from most prying eyes as I would be having it in the middle of a busy city.
Lastly, I'm wondering if I ought to create a new roleplay thread for the reboot. (You know, with the whole phoenix rebirth theme.) The OOC would remain the same, just for simplicities sake.
Thoughts?

| Your ideas for any changes sound good so far to me. Honestly, I'd just assume you start a new thread, since things will be slightly different and all. Whatever you decide though, it's your game...that's just my opinion.

| I'm attempting to set up a playground with the updated information. Please pardon the dust while things get situated.
Now then, on to business. While this didn't come up in the first game, there was always the chance that two or more characters from opposing factions would get into a battle of some sort. I'm cool with having the honor system guide the damages or lack thereof. On the other hand, I'm just as keen on using something similar to the dice system Atraea has with her Magical Girl games. (Basically you write out what you want to do. I roll my doombringers. Then I describe what happens and everyone just runs with it.)
There was another thing I wanted to bring to the discussion, but I don't remember what it is. Eh. *Shrugs*

| Is that government agency going to be a thing? Because I could make an agent.
Well...I already made an agent. Because I had nothing better to do. Besides homework, but I don't count that. Whee!

| I think the MGRP battle system is best for mido. you control the rolls and we do take what happens.

I can totally make the Government Agency be a thing seeing that you're that excited about it.
And I'll be sure to keep my dice handy. They've been sadly neglected lately.

| Fantastic! I have a tendency to just make characters for like...everything. Is this like the government agency in Heroes? Government hires Dreamers and partners them with Norms, and says that all the other Dreamers are dangerous and such?

| That is a fair assessment of the situation. When this particular group was created (a really, reeeeeeally, long time ago) they approached the entire Dreamer population as "dangerous until proven otherwise" sort of thing. They got partnered with a Mundie mainly to keep an eye on them. Part of it was because there was no guarantee that two different Dreamers agents would work well with or compliment each others abilities. The rest of the reasoning was because there were more Norm agents than Dreamers.
