Are You As Creative A Dresser As Your Avatar?

Would you dye your hair blue or wear vines around your neck as a fashion statement? If you love the fantasy world of avatars with unusual amulets and such, wouldn't you be willing to let others know by dressing like an avatar? If so, where would you wear these items and for how long? Would you be willing to explain what an "avatar" is to the computer illiterate or what your fascination with midorea is? One more question. What is your all-time favorite fashion element?

I would dress like my avatar. I did before but it was for a different avatar site not this one. It was lots of fun.

Some things I would wear. For example, I have rolled up capris and an empire dress, my avatar's hairstyle is the same as min, and I do have some of the weapons, I use them in martial arts.

I'm not sure what my favorite fashion element is because my style is a blend of different things I like, and I place equal importance on all parts of the outfit.

I wish I dressed as nicely as I do on avatar sites in real life, although there are some outfits I would not wear like what I'm currently wearing on here. I don't think it would be appropriate. XD

My current avatar is very simmilar to what I wear on a day to day basis. And, yes, I do carry knives on my person, one of which is that big. However, my hair isn't black. It's a dark brown. I couldn't find the right shade in the shops so I went with black for kicks. I usually have it tied back, to keep it out of my face.

I used to have natural "fangs" but after having four years of braces, the dentist decided that I didn't need them. Now they're just as small as everyone elses teeth.

Well, in real life I have dark brown hair and I am very plain. I guess I make my avatar my ideal and dream self. I am short in real life as well. I have medium length hair and I dress very plain. I dont wear makeup or try to stick out. I have freckles and brown eyes. I am the pinnacle of plain jane.

I hate being the way I am at times, but I cant do anything about it. If I changed myself I wouldnt be who I am. In a way, I shouldnt have to be anyone, but who I am.

But how daring would you be, if you COULD dress like your avatar? Would you wear the entire outfit, just part of it, or what? And, at what kind of event would you most likely wear the entire thing -- besides a convention, of course?

I kinda dress my avatars realistically, for the most part. So I suppose that I would dress like my avatar. :P However, when I do dress them a little outlandish I can't say that I would mimic that in real life. I think I would stand out a ton more than anyone else that did it... well, maybe not anyone; but a six foot tall red-headed girl with big fake wings on her back or a sword in her hand would probably be alarming to most people. :P

True, but, personally, I think redheads are very beautiful. I would opt for a different shade of green wings, if I were you, because they are a bit on the extremely-bright side, but green is always a good color for redheads. The sword would definitely cause a stir :0 . Is your hair naturally red, or would you have to opt for a wig to get the same look?

If I could, I would if I felt like it ^.^
I'm lazy now, but in highschool I got pretty creative with how I looked. I never wore capes, but I had a duster and trench coat I wore all the time.
<.< I used to have colorful hair too. Oh I wish I wasn't so lazy, but I also blame it on my desire to be employed. Stupid corporate culture

Corporate culture does get in the way. I knew someone who wasn't hired by a certain store, JUST BECAUSE she didn't have colored hair. I have seen some very attractive people with colors in their hair that reflected their personality and it was almost as if they should have been born with that color. I am not sure that wings would go unnoticed on the street, though.

At what place, other than a party, would you feel most comfortable wearing or carrying your favorite accessory(ies)?
