riku stepped out of negi's room and sighed. He felt a wave of power and negi was going to ignore it

'Riku!' shouted Jack. 'Go away! You'll die!'

Riku looked at him confused then shivered. He felt Hachi-sans presccence in Jack. "W-what did you do?"

'Nothing!' he said, staring at his feet guiltily.

Tears filled riku's sad purple eyes and he turned away from him and then formed a scyth in his hands. "I-I cant control"

'Control what?' asked Jack, biting his lip.

The scythe sudennly formed fully sencing Hachi's soul and a giant eye on the blade opened "RUN" riku yelled but Hachi stood behind the boy.
"Kill him"

Jack gasped, like someone would gasp for air when they'd been hit hard. He tried to resist, but it just make him hurt so much more. Kanteya was screaming her head off and nipping at his ear. That was her way of expressing her worry for him. 'G-go, Ri-iku...' he managed to say. No, he did not want to kill. Although... if he did not learn to kill, then how would he become Death? As that thought surfaced, he felt the power overtake him.

Hachi felt a surge of power and sent it to Jack. "Do it" Riku gripped his Scythe and then lowered it.
"I wont fight him" Riku muted

Jack's eyes widened. 'No! Go a-away!' he shouted as his hand started tracing something in the air, seemingly of its own accord.

Hachi grimmaced. The boy was still under his control, maybe riku was weakening his power. "Dam" He growled as the box shut and fell to the ground freeing Jack.

Jack let out a sigh of relief. He turned to Hachi. 'How dare you try to control me?' he said with an edge in his voice.

Hachi had a sharp smirk on his face "You are the onme who opened my soul, I simply answered the call" he smiled and then threw a dagger that hit ikku in the chest. "Now that it is free, and i am free" he vanished before finishing RIku fell to the floor.

'No!' he shouted. He touched the still warm body of Riku. His face twisted into an expression of pain and anger, even though he hardly knew Riku. He gently pulled the dagger out of the dead man's chest. 'I'll kill that Hachi for what he did.'

Negi appeared besinde his fallen brother. "Jack" he growled as he pulled him up by the collor of his shirt. "You should be expelled for this!" He tossed Jack to the side and picked up Riku. "But I wont say anything" he spat. "Right now i need you to help me get riku to the informery."
