Opening the door a crack, Jack slipped in, and closed it behind him as silently as he could. Kanteya was biting his hair, as she did so only when she was really nervous. He spotted a little box covered in dust, hiding in a corner. He heard footsteps nearing and didn't think twice.

Hachi walked away seein nothing, but Negi was starting as a teacer so maybe Negi would notice. Instead of leaving however Hachi made himself invisible. A gaint Scythe formed in his hands. He had earned the title of death his last year, the year Riku was murdered twice, the year he was betrayed by Riku. That box had the sig of death and no student was not to enter, so he would protect his good name,.

Jack dared himself to push the door open a few inches. No one there. He sighed. But Kanteya seemed to have noticed something, for she was staring at an empty space. 'What's wrong?' he asked. He knew that animals' sixth sense alerted them whenever magic was about.
Jack reached out his hand and touched something smooth and cold. He ran his finger down it and reached a sharp edge. 'Ouch!' he exclaimed, he had cut himself with something invisible.

Hachi grabbed the boys wrist. "This is a restricted area." he growled as he gave the boy a defening look that was cold as steal. "No students allowed"

'Oh, sorry,' he said, grinning sheepishly. He ran off and eventually found his class. He apologized to the teacher for being late, and sat in the only seat available. Surprised, he saw that Negi was sitting next to him.

Negi sighed as he looked over then seeing the boy from earlier blushed and quickly looked back down. "Hello" he whispered softly, tomorow he would become a teacher, he did not want to get too known by students. he loked sheepishly at his watch and wondered how riku was doing. his brother sat in the front nomming on homework and looked lost.
Riku grasped the pen and began to jot down ramndom answers. he flunked two years cause He was killed twice. Hachi had brought him back, that was when hachi cared. something changed and riku was scared and ready to kill hachi the zetsumie.

Jack stared blankly at the teacher as he was asked a question. He couldn't even remember what the question was. How can you pay attention in class when you're bored to death? 'What? Don't you know the answer? I just said it half a minute ago!' the teacher said. Giggling rippled through the students. 'You know, if you really want to become Death, then you should concentrate more.'

Negi slowly stood and began to read the answer from the book, ilencing the teacher and sat back down. He was getting use tothe class. This was his new position, Histry of death. He sighed and loked around for Riku to make sure he was ok.

Jack sighed, when he remembered the box he had taken. He took it out of his pocket and slipped it in his bag. Kanteya ruffled her feathers at the sight of it. He stroked her beak and fed her a sunflower seed to make her calm down.

A ping went threw Negi's head as he felt the dark stones presence. he looked around the box was sealed when hachi and riku fought for the last time Ryuki and Kyle were gaurding souls? it would have taken power and lots of it to not be noticed by them.

The bell for break time had eventually come. Jack jumped off his chair, almost knocking it over. He reached into his bag and slipped the box out of it and back into his pocket. He rushed out of the classroom along with everyone else.
