| I love drawing detailed animals as well.
I generally go nuts drawing things like owls. The only thing with animals like this thats hard is that you have to make sure that the details don't overtake the picture. It's really easy to miss the forest for the trees when you are working on pictures like that.

| Eeee, animals~ >w< I'm a scientific illustration enthusiast, so animal drawings are spifftastic to me. I don't have any examples on me at the moment (lazy when it comes to scanning xD I'm primarily traditional) but I love drawing whatever comes by. Usually realism, but here and there I do weird and playful stuff too. I think I spent half of Christmas Eve doodling my cousins' cat's paws. xD;;
Cute stuff by the way, JLtd. ;33

| @ JLtd, love the purple one! I haven't done any art for a long time now, but recently had the chance to design a friends wedding dress. I think I might be getting the desire back.
I usually draw horses (I have 2 - so I like to see them doing silly things like trying to scratch their ears with their hind leg).
@ Helen, you must have an incredible amount of patience. I used to do botany illustrations at uni but I didn't keep at it. What sort of illustrations are you talking about?

| Animals are the best and I love drawing so no matter what there is one in my picture.
Though I have stared painting more than sketching and its a little hard with animals...rather than a tree

| God, I can't draw animals for anything in the world. o_o If I have a sheet of their muscles, I could manage pretty easy, but without referens of muscles, I'm doomed.
I drew only humans or human-like animals when I was little, but now I only draw humans. I don't know why I love to draw humans that much, but I suppose I like the whole daily life situation in my stories, and humans fit better. Plus, their muscles and anatomy are love, plus they're attractive.

| i am greatly sorry for not posting back as i planned but that is totally killer that you guys are great in any talents you may have. it doesn't matter what it is you draw that i am concerned of. its the amount of killer talent you and many others have in common. yes i do know this, no matter how hard you try at something it just takes a little time and effort to break it.
I'll say this, don't give up cause if you do you are breaking a life time of talented value no matter what that talent may be.
