| 'You'll be safe from everyone for as long as you stay here,' Jack said, starting a fire. He started putting ingredients into a pot with a chunk of ice. The ice melted turning into water, and it soon became soup. He stirred the soup.

Manuel scanned the streets in search of the witch. She had escaped again. He went around asking the villagers if they had seen the witch with a boy running away. Someone tugged at his cape. He looked down to see a small boy. 'What is it?' he asked. The boy pointed to the mountainside. 'Are they there?' he asked. The boy nodded.

| Jack closed his eyes. He felt the fire around him expand. He felt it dance around his, caressing him, trying to make him join in. The fire kept getting more and more intense. He let out a small sigh of relief, as the fire disappeared, leaving his things turned to ashes.

| Mortissia ran to see if Jack was ok and tripped in the cave. "OUCH" she cried as she sat up looking up at Jack then a heavy blush crossed her face. "I'm sorry" She looked down.

| Jack blushed too. He leaned against the smoking wall of the cave, tired. 'Fire is my power,' he said. 'And I can't control it.'
