I'm not too much into music... Well, in the sense that I haven't found a particular band that I like. What sort of music do you listen to? x3

And I'm too lazy to keep track of mules, so I tend not to make them. x.x;

I am too lazy to keep track of them on sites where there is a limit... but on Gaia I can go crazy and i am good XD.

I love Green Day... but I would think that pretty obvious XD. I am rather obsessed. My sister bought Muse's album The Resistance a few days ago and it is really beautiful. I'd like to see them. There is so much msuci that I want, that I don't have... and so much msuic I would love to check out.

What sort of albums do you recommend from Green Day?
I've only a heard a few of their songs, but I do like them. ^^

That depends on which songs you have heard that you like, haha. My favorite is the newest album, 21st Century Breakdown. But 20 years ago their first record came out, 39/Smooth (which was combined with a couple of EPs to make the album 1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours). They are all great and have variety... a good sampler is the greatest hits album, "International Superhits!" but that came out in 2002, before their latest two albums... XD.

There is definitely a big change, but you can still tell it is the same band, haha. In some ways their newest album throws back to their older stuff but it is definitely a completely new way of doing things.

The name of this hangout actually comes from a song... in late 2007 Green Day had been working on their upcoming album, and then they just threw together a quick album in like... one night, in the style of 60s garage rock, under the name "The Foxboro Hot Tubs". On that album was a song called "Ruby Room"... about a bar, and working class life... but mostly the bar. It is an actual place... but at the time I had been going between several names for hangouts on the sites I was on... and that one seemed to be perfect. So I used it.

What other ideas did you have in mind for the title of this chat? x3

I didn't have any other ideas in mind... this was long before Midorea was around. But before I had the idea to make it a Ruby Room, I was jut using random and changing song lyrics from other songs (Green Day, The Beatles, My Chemical Romance, The Go... whoever was in my head at the time) and it just wasn't working. Now, at least, there is soemthing of a story to the title and I have a history with it so... at least there is some grab to it.

And yup I do! Almost every site I am on, there is a Ruby Room. Granted the success rate is varied, but...
