Background: When Millianna was a young girl, she had alchemy circles burned into the back of both hands, almost forcing her into the field. She wears the gloves to hide those burns, even though she ends up looking like she's constantly cold when it's combined with her hat and scarf. At first, she was resentful of alchemy, but has found it increasingly useful as she got older.

Name: Fiona-Rose "Fi" Williams
Age: 21
Appearance: Fiona
Background: Fiona grew up knowing that she wanted to work with animals and nature, or run away to be a hermit. After High school, she began volunteering at the parks and shelters. She eventually went into getting a degree in biology and became a Forest Ranger. She is licenced to use firearms, and keeps on on her person, though she would rather not use it.

Millianna had her hands jammed in her pockets as she walked. She was in a fairly deserted part of town, and so wasn't keeping as much of an eye out as normal. She passed a broken water spout running down the side of a building, and stopped to wrap her hands around it.

When Millianna drew them away a moment later, the spout was whole again. She continued on her way, not knowing someone had seen her do it.

[Tsemara]

Fiona yawned, her shift finished not more than an hour ago. The wind ruffled her short cropped hair as she rode her bike back to the little apartment she called home. She rounded a corner in time to see a girl approach a broken spout that had been left to the elements for ages. What the Ranger didn't expect to see was the girl fixing it with alchemy. She was not fond of the practice, but it did have its' uses sometimes.

As she neared the young woman, she called out, "That was a pretty nice trick there. I'm sure the owners will be please to know they don't have to pay to get that fixed, anymore."

[Yare]

Millianna looked back. She was silent for a moment before she figured there was no point in denying it. 'The way that thing was rusted, they probably wouldn't have paid anyway.'

[Tsemara]

"That's probably more true, than I'd like to admit." Fiona halted her bike a couple paces away from the girl. She didn't want to accidentally run her over. She nearly asked if the girl was an alchemist, but the answer was pretty obvious. Instead, she went with the other question she had.

"You seem a bit young to out on your own, in a place like this. You live around here?"

[Yare]

'No,' Millianna said. 'I came here on my own.'

[Tsemara]

As tired as she was, she would not be a good officer of any sort if she allowed the girl to continue on her own.
"Is there some place you're headed? I would be happy to escort you there."

[Yare]

'No where in particular,' Millianna said. 'I was thinking of where I could sleep.'

[Tsemara]

Fiona could not help but raise a brow over the rims of her glasses. Runaway? She knew better than to ask, seeing that she once threatened to run off to live with the wolves, when she was younger.

"If you don't have a place to stay, I could probably show you someplace cheap." She offered. She didn't want to have company over, but probably would offer, if the girl didn't have any funds for a hotel.

[Yare]

'It would have to be very cheap,' Millianna said. 'Not many people are willing to hire young alchemists.'

[Tsemara]

Figures. She sighed a bit. "Well, if that's the case, I know a place you can stay. The owner won't care, as long as you don't accidentally blow something up." Fiona dismounted her bike, so the younger girl would not have to run to keep up. She hoped the young alchemist would not be offended by her words. They sort of slipped out.

[Yare]

Millianna gave a small smile. 'I try not to blow anything up,' she said. 'It's very hard to get debris out of hair.'

[Tsemara]

Fiona grinned. "That's true. Follow me." She began to walk down the quiet street. A breeze sailed past as the sky began to dim.

[Yare]

Millianna put her hands back in her pockets and followed her. 'How far away is this place?'
