After several years of testing, scientists have developed a cure for the disease.

For some strange reason, the cure didn't cure, it gave them powers! Scientists are still trying to figure out what went wrong.

Several normal humans tried the 'cure', but it killed them. It only seems to have effect on the diseased ones.

Background: Daniella got the disease at the age of 10, only a year after it started spreading. She wishes with all her soul to be normal, but she knows it's impossible.

Age: 16
Appareance: Between short and middlelong black hair and almost inhuman blue eyes. His face is most of the time dirty, not because he never cleans, but because he just gets dirty fast.
Power: Fire
Background: Dave isn't really rich, but not poor either. When he got the disease, his parents repudiated him. Altough, when they heared about the cure and the consequence of it, they wanted him back. He said no, and left the country.

Daniella slowly opened her eyes, though it made no difference. The darkness would forever follow her. She turned off her alarm and got up sleepily. She felt the electricity pulsing through the wires of the walls and followed them downstairs, like she did every saturday. She walked into the kitchen and had breakfast. She yawned again. She hadn't slept well last night.

Dave woke up scared, and saw the darkness again. He loved the night, because he did see when he sleeps. Even when he had nightmares, like this night, he was happy to see again. He stepped out his bed and walked into the livingroom. There he said Good morning to his cat and made coffee. He really was lucky that he was able to made coffee blind, because he did it so much when he still could see. He liked coffee on a young age already.

Daniella felt a strange urge to go to the park today. She took her walking-stick and went up the road.

Dave drunk his coffee, walked upstairs again. There he dressed himself up and decided to go to the park. He putted on his sunglasses, took his coat on and walked outside. He called his dog and told him to go to the park. He was happy with her, because she totally understood him.

Daniella sat underneath the shade of a tree, toying with a blade of grass, wondering when they'd make a cure that would actually work. She heard footsteps approaching.

'Hi' Dave said a bit unsure. He wasn't sure if there was someone, he just guessed so. He kneeled down and petted his dog. 'Good girl' He said treating.

Daniella turned her head towards the voice. 'Hello,' she said, getting up. She always felt uncomfortable around other people, perhaps because she was jealous for their sight. Of course, she couldn't be able to tell if someone was blind like her or not.

Dave smiled. He hated it when he said "Hi" to nothing. 'Is there place next to you?' he asked, while he hoped the girl wouldn't look weird to him.

'Um... I think so,' she said, shrugging. 'Why do you ask?'

Ive smiled 'Because I can't see so'.

'Really?' said Daniella, 'Alright then. You can sit.' She ran her fingers on her walking-stick.
