| Awesome. Action based it is.
Lessee....fantasy..... Shoot, I just saw "How to Train your Dragon", so I've got dragons on the brain. It sounds like a fun start, but still. I'd like to see if we can come up with something a bit more original.

| Oh yeah, sure. Bring logic into this. Thhhhpt.
Though I am kind of reminded of a book I read. This prince guy needs to go slay a dragon and take its' golden hoard in order to help his failing kingdom. But the dragon he meets is a vegitarian and collects butterfies. Crazy stuff happens involving a kickass princess, a sword that calls rainbows, a pessimistic unicorn... and a drunk wizard if I recall correctly.
That's not to say we'd do anything like that. It seems a bit complicated for two people. But I figured I'd share. I should probably find that book and read it again.

| Hooray or random quest results!! Like randomly turning into a frog when you're trying to make chocolate milk or something like that. That would kind of suck though.
What kind of characters do you have in mind?

| I did a story like that once with a friend of mine. I played a werewolf thief while she played a witch in training. She used a summon familiar type spell while she was traveling while I was in wolf form and kind of got stuck traveling with her. Which was great because I had attempted to rob her earlier that week.
We had to go defeat a demon that was trying to break out of whatever oblivion they were in. (So cliche...) We never finished it.
And yay! Another player for my Role Play!

| Well first things first. How would this wizard go about getting their familiar? A magical summoning? Raising it from birth? Accidental meeting? Aquest gone somehow wrong?

| A pet rock? I don't think I've ever seen that one. That's a fun idea. Same with the cactus.
So where do I fit in, in all this? Hmm...

| The result of a bad experiment? Now you're just being mean.
But I do have a character from that kind of scenario. (Most of the characters I've been using here are from some sort of story I've written. And they were too cool not to use again.)
Anyway, this guy was experimenting with some kind of spell to make it so dragons cannot use their fire breath as a weapon. He goofs up and ends up turning his assistant into what I ended up calling an ice drake. (Kind of like a dragon but has fur instead of scales, and breathes frost instead of fire.) So he needs to figure out how to change the assistant back before the change becomes permanent.
I think that's one of the few stories that my friend and I ended up finishing.

| I had nothing against goofed up experiments, but you have to admite, some results aren't very nice.
It was fun writing it. And what kind of experiemnt would be fun without some kind of explosion that burned up all the notes so you'd need to start your research all over again. Unless it was your masters' notes and he kicked you out of whatever training you're in until you could fix your mistake?
