| ...what would it be?
When un-inventing something, you take an object or concept and make it so that it never exists. don't think about the consequences, because they wouldn't exist in the un-invented world.
For example: I'd un-invent the concept of feminine beauty (women have to wear bras, shave, wear fitted/tight clothing, etc...) mostly because I find half of those concepts to be unnecessary and/or uncomfortable. If women want to do those things, they can, but it is not the norm.

| Black friday is a marketing "term" if you will. It a day that businesses have outrageous sales/deal/whatever in hopes to get back into the black. "In the black" means that they are gaining a profit, to offset the cost of being open. They have bills and other crap to pay. Being "in the red", would mean that they are loosing money just by being open, because no one is buying anything.
I hope that helps.

| ahh i already knew the black/red thing due to the ammount of adverts on tv over here for companies that help people get out of debt, but thanks for the explanations guys... the name makes a lot of sense aha.
i wonder why would you want to un-invent it, though? (not disagreeing it'd be a good thing, just curious as to the reasoning)

| Yes I work retail I wasn't necessarily meaning the marketing term. I mostly mean whoever came up with the idea to have sales the day after Thanksgiving needs to be taken out and shot multiple times.

| I laugh out loud at everything that was posted before thiss.... Except for the post in yellow because of my crappy quality on my tv from my Wii I could only make out the word walmart XD
Its ok though because I can see it on the comp. laters.
If I could uninvent something.. I would uninvent... the clock. I dont see why people are so hung up over being on time! I mean.. I wish we could all just live without timing ourselves, you know?

| I can definitely understand that, Lexi.
And I wish I could feel your pain, Koyi, but I cannot. My crazy time starts the week after new year's. That's when a TON of parents drop their kids off to work on the new year's resolution that never lasts more than a few weeks.
The joys of working at a YMCA daycare...
