| I'm having these reoccurring headaches that aren't caffein ones, and they really hurt, and they kind of affect my sinuses, but not to the point where flicking below my eyes hurts, but ibeprofen helps, but I don't like taking drugs, and I have about 3 exams tomarow and a bunch of projects going on, and I can't focus on anything (currently waiting for drugs to kick in). Earlier I tried to massage the head area of reflexology... it kinda worked... because I wasn't thinking about my head or how I can't focus.
So: What causes you to get a headache most often?
How do you get rid of them?
Do you do any non medication related headache related things (like preasure between thumb and index that doesn't work for me)?

| I always get headaches.. I think it might be lack of sleep that causes them.
I get the frequently though ^^;
I use Advil to get rid of them, and most of the time it works.

| My allergies give me headaches all the time, so maybe it's the same for you?
I don't treat mine. I'm basically always in pain but because of that, I'm so used to it that it doesn't even matter. Today though the left side of my head was hurting extremely badly, almost driving me to tears. I still don't know what caused it.

| Sounds to me like you're having allergy headaches. I've been getting those recently, where it feels like it's effecting my sinuses. But in reality, it's my sinuses effecting my headaches. >_<
I take Advil Cold & Sinus if it becomes a problem. If not, just regular rest usually takes care of that.

| Um Um Um.
Try having some one brush out your hair. Im not kidding. That helps almost every headache I have. Mainly because it is so soothing and I relax so the tension just.. dissapates.

| Cross: XD thats why they don't fit me quite right. But I like them anyway.
I've never had headaches because of allergies... erm at least not this sort. Its more headache than nose, and usually it would be the other way arround.
Things I'm allergic to: grass(I hate the smell of a fresh cut lawn >.<), cats (the first time in 3 years that I haven't been living with a cat), corn (eating too much makes me sleepy... not severe), and then the usual pollen/dust/mold. And I kinda think allergies is my nose because it's been rainy and dark and cold, which is happy for mold indoors. But I've also been in group projects with a lot of together time and at least half of the people will be sick, including my room mate.
Kira Bella: XD I've never heard of hair brushing helping headaches. I've been reluctant to brush my hair if I have a headache at the time because of it pulling on hair and adding to the throbbing of my brain and so its an inside/outside thing... but an interesting idea!

| I'm always getting reoccuring headaches, it's annoying. I don't know what triggers them either. The only thing I can do is take some Excedrin. Usually lying down with a sleep mask on helps until the drugs kick in.

| So after one of my really bad ones that lasted more than a day, my mother takes me in to get an eye exam (hadn't had one for probably 4 years), to see if its a vision thing. I found out two things: first of all, my mother's uncle has diabetes- he's the only one, but its a well known fact that if/when I get it, my life will become hell. I live on sugar and starches. You take sugar away and oh man- I don't know if I can function. Also that my left eye is a very tiny bit in need of a prescription. so now I got glasses (took me 2 months to find frames that looked decent on me- some how even the artsy-est frames make me look like a math nerd, and we don't want false advertising here!), for when I'm reading or working on the computer (the two components of my life when I'm not eating/sleeping). I don't know if they help, though I've only worn them when I felt a headache coming on, not before hand, but even then I don't think they really helped.

| Diabetes isn't as bad as it used to be, if you're not too bad off, you can take pills to regulate your blood sugar instead of shots. As for laying off the sugars and starches, again, it depends on how sever it is. Both of my parents have it, so I'm thinking it's just a matter of time before I get it, so I watch my weight and what I eat so it doesn't come on earlier than it has to. ^_^
I hope the glasses help your headaches, though you should wear them all the time you need to, or else it'll make your eyes worse and then you'll be stuck wearing glasses all the time, I speak from experience on that one. *sighs*
Hope your headaches lessen. .gif)
