How do I get the currency. Also what is the volley ball thing for

Also how do I use a butter knife and butcher knife in battle

After you begin a battle, there will be a drop down menue next to the attack button. Open it and choose the knives from the menue, then click attack. ^^

Some weapons require certain stats or levels to use, so be sure to check their descriptions befor buying them.
