I'm going to punch the next person who says "Cooking is easy." in the ovaries. EVEN IF THEY'RE MALE. D<
I'm currently cooking Chicken Chillindron and I think I did it wrong already. I cut up the legs into pieces, like it shows in the damned finish image and it's like ":'D LOLJK NOOB LOLOLOLOLOL". Now it looks like there's more vegies then meat. (... Doesn't LOOK - it IS. ;_; )
I'm letting it simmer for 10 mins right now... I have 2 mins left ish... -sigh- I suck at cooking. u_________u

| Its not easy, per se.. It just depends what you go for?
I can make a kick ass Spag Bol, and I also make a simple pasta bake with stuff but I tend to like use this pre-cooked, frozen chicken strips.. I hate cutting fresh chicken lol

Oh my Jesus, it's actually pretty damn good. >> -eat- Ivan's going to love my cooking if I can keep this up. Ahhh... >w<
Spag.. Bol? The hell is that... -googles- o_O Oh. Spaghetti. I'm really bad at doing stuff with noodles. I always over cook them or undercook.. D: It's never perfect!
Omg chicken. T______T I had to chop up chicken leg meat and I was so grossed out. Especially peeling off the damned skin. Just from that experience I feel like going vegan. ;3;

| I make a mean lemon cupcake >=p
And that's about it, I don't really trust myself with cooking. I'll do it, but I"ll be nervous about messing up the entire time.
One time I was making a birthday cake on my mother's birthday; I forgot the flour x.X
And that was because I was on Mido.... >>"
So you're not the only bad cook Nikki xD
I"d rather cook deserts than food, it's way easier xD

| lol, I forget basic things all the time. I can usually follow recipes fairly well though..... but cooking is hard ;_; I'm always yelling trying to figure out wtf to do and getting stressed out about it.
I made a really delicious gooey butter cake recently. XD But that was a very simple recipe. And I am good at making cookies and stuff... but like real food you should eat, I don't have much experience.

| EVEN IF THEY'RE MALE? D8 THAT'S TERRIFYING!
I love baking. In a platonic way. It's just so much fun for me. But whenever I try to cook ANYTHING real, like a meal or something, my brain goes blank and I do something wrong. Like ridiculously wrong.
Especially if I have to add just a certain amount of water. I always add too much. You think I would notice, BUT I DONT UNTIL ITS TOO LATE D::
My sister's the chef in the family though, so I'm cool

| I prefer baking over anything. I also love making milkshakes and snacks. XD I can get really creative with stuff other than meals.
Meals are easy to cook, but after I start eating I always think there's something else that I should have added. I loved it when Raz left his spices at my house because of that though; I had so much fun with those! Now that they're gone, all I'm left with is lemon pepper, cinimon, salt, and pepper.
>.>; *goes to make French Toast for the first time in ages*

@Angelic.Demon; I can't cook deserts, especially ones that require sitting in the fridge for an obscene amount of time to chill & harden. I can't! I just can't. I want to eat them so badly. I have to makre sure I'm all full up before I make anything sweet. Else I'll devour it.
I can make a ferocious brownie though. >3 Oh! And my brother taught me how to make peanut butter cookies once. They were heavenly~ X3
@Kaishi; As long as it has a recipe, I think I can do it. 8D
When I was cooking last night, I was supposed to cook the onions and garlic briefly... and I was spazzing looking for the wine for about 3 mins while it was cooking on med heat. Then I spilled wine EVERYWHERE. >>; -klutz-
@Glimpse; D< GRAWR.
Baking isn't my style. I'm not good with handling extremely hot things hovering over or below trays. >>; I got myself a really nice burn last time I tried baking something...
@Chu; MILKSHAKES! I'm so pro at making milkshakes. 8D Then again, it's so easy a caveman can do it..? x_x
... Mmmm... French Toast... Oh damn, that reminded me, I was going to make Spanish Sugar Toast today. But I already put my comp back in my room. >.<

| How do you bake a cake and forget the flour? I seriously want to know! Okay, maybe I'm just odd!
Cooking is easy after bunches of practice, just like anything else. I know watching hours upon hours upon hours of food network helps, even if you never cook anything they show. They just show a bunch of little tips and tricks that will help you. The bestest show is Good Eats!
French Toast? Man you suck...now I want french toast and I don't feel like cooking! Damn it!

| Cooking dinner is ok...I more have issues with choosing what to cook. That and the current set up of kitchen on one side of the dorm and room with the stuff on the other has made some interesting problems. But I have made some pretty good miso soup thus far...
Lavndrdream I LOVE Good Eats And the up side is most of what he makes is pretty easy to make your self.
Nikki Milkshakes are easy ONLY if you can get the blender together to start with >>; early mistakes of mine proved this.

| Milkshakes are easy! ^_^ That's why I like adding cakes and candies to mine to make them special, haha.
My brownie milkshakes are so good...

| COOKING IS NOT EASY! /sympathises with you forever
I am a pretty terrible cook. I want to improve, and I've gotten a lot better since last September (...what does that say about how bad a cook I was then? orz) but I can still generally only cook things where I just have to prepare the meat and vegetables, and the sauce comes in a jar or something. I've only tried to make my own sauce from scratch once and it was an EPIC failure. I got the ratio of ingredients backwards, tried to rectify it in the middle of cooking and ended up with something lumpy, slimy and entirely inedible. :< I tried it. It tasted bad.
I can't bake, either. Either I mess up on measuring the ingredients, or I mess up on the cooking time/temperature. But that could partly be blamed on our crappy oven's temperature control...
As for milkshakes... we have a couple of milkshake places here. They make milkshakes with almost ANYTHING in them. :D There must be a couple of hundred possible flavours, at least - all kinds of sweets and chocolate. My favourite is banana and nutella~ = w=
What do you guys like in your milkshakes?

| I am a pretty good cook. I have my own specialties and own recipes that are very yummy but I can basically make all the general stuff. If it is something complicated just give me the recipe and I will make it, and I always put my own twist to it.
When adding spices and stuff I always do it by feeling, not one cup of this and that exactly, and it always turns out right.
Like last week, my sis in law had this recipe for mexican food, so first time I made it (my bf made it many times) and I spiced it and all by feeling and it tasted the best that I have ever tasted it. Yeah I know that sounds high-headed but it was the best mexican dish of the ones from the same recipe I had eaten lol

| Ugh, cooking, I just can't seem to get it right, it's a shame ...
That doesn't stop me from trying though, sometimes I will just feel the urge to make something, and put some more or less random stuff in a bowl or pan and see where it goes from there xD
It goes terribly wrong sometimes, but I've had some good outcome too.
@DistortedBrwain: Spicing is the worst for me, I will just take anything from the spices shelf that looks promising and put it on the dish.
I guess spicing is a "you have it or you don't" thing.
@Bound: Banana and Nutella sound delicious, I'd like to try that out now.
Mh, I could do that *wanders off to improvise*

| Some recipies are easy, others are hard...
I recently tried to make a banoffie pie...
Utter Disaster! So the friend I made it for had to make do with a Sponge cake... She didn't complain as I showed her how bad the result was...
