| So... I'm really excited since tomorrow I'm going on a "Mystery" trip with my Youth Group, but I already know where going to a water park nearby ;D
I absolutely love this one ride called Daredevil's Drop that's 100 something feet high and a straight drop down. The other rides there are so fun, the wave pool as well
So I want to know, which do you like better, Amusement parks or water parks? And what are your favorite rides you've been on/want to go on? =P

| That's such a hard choice for me. DX
I think I like... water parks more! >:'D I get to fight off the sun and show off my body in a bikini, haha!
I have a bit of a fear of water slides, but I still go on them. I'm just kind of nervous before I go down.

| I'm not a fan of water parks because I think they're gross. x_x I just can't get over the fact that millions of tourists swim in it and they all bring their kids and kids have tendency to pee and possibly poop in the water. To me they just seem like a giant toilet. @_@ And I've known people to get horrible infections and things from going to water parks, so I prefer just to stay away from them. I've been to a few before but it's a rare thing. I don't really care for public pools either for the same reason, but at least they are smaller and have a smaller amount of people that swim in them. It's too bad because I really like swimming and I would find places like water parks to be fun if I just didn't know that they are really nasty. ._. So I'd rather just go to a regular amusement park. I live in Orlando though so I've been to so many of these parks so many times I'm not real interested in any of them.

| I don't like either. XD Water parks would be my preference, but they gross me out. Swimming in a pool is ok because it's pretty much maintained, but I can't fathom a reasonable way to maintain the amount of water that thousands of people are swimming in. Gross, disgusting people who'll go swimming in a public place even if they have diseases and foot fungus, and who spit and pee in the water. I haven't been to one in a looong time. I don't like roller coasters, so amusement parks aren't any fun for me. :<
And they're both too expensive XD; For some reason, even though the ocean is full of fish and pee and other gross things, it is much more appealing to me. I'll take the free beach! <3

| That Daredevil's Drop ride sounds like the worst. /shudder
I'm not a big fan of amusement parks, but I'd pick an amusement park over a water park every time for one reason - I can't swim at all. I haven't been in a pool for going on 7 years now... I'm probably going to go to one sometime this summer with my friends though. I'm actually a little scared of being in the water, since I can't swim at all. If it gets much over my waist, I start to worry, even though I know I wouldn't drown.
The worst thing about amusement parks is the way there are always crowds of people and you have to queue for ages. I'm pretty impatient I guess, haha. And rollercoasters... are strange for me. I man up, get in the queue, and I usually think it's a great idea to go on them, right up until the harness comes down and I'm stuck in there. Then I start to panic. I've never had that giddy kind of adrenaline rush most people get from rollercoasters, I just sit there totally convinced of the fact that I'm about to die and terrified, and walk off intact but pale and shaky. XD It happens even on the smaller ones that only have, like, 2 loops and 1 large hill or something.
But amusement parks have other rides. I love the ones that are like a ghost train, but you get to shoot at whatever pops out with a laser gun. Those are fun~

| Can't say I am a fan of either. But Amusement parks tend to have a few rides I enjoy where as the waterpark has nothing I truly enjoy just cause I hate wearing a bathing suit...
I am a Tea Cup fanatic, both my sister and I have a good tolerance for being spun about and we allways try and get them going super fast in circles. So long as we are the only two in the tea cup we are ok... other wise we have to slow it down for who ever else though they were up to the challenge.
I also adore Merry-go-rounds. The really old ones with hand carved horses are my favorite.

| I'm scared of roller coasters. D:
But I'd rather go to an amusement park than a water park. I have low self-esteem about my body (not going to wear jeans and a t-shirt at a water park.) Not to mention that I can't swim. Dx
I think the only roller coaster that I like is Boulder Dash at Lake Compounce. I went there just last friday for a school field trip.

| D: That sucks.
I got my Kentucky Kingdom pass for the year and I'm so excited! Mainly it's because Raz will be tagging along a lot of the time, considering I've been riding the "big stuff" since I was eight, but we'll still have fun together.

| OOO....I love amusement parks! So far I've been to:
Disneyland
Disneyworld
Knotts Berry Farm (my fav)
Hershey Park (another fav)
Kings dominon
Busch Garden's (VA)
I know there has to be another one but I can't think of it
As for water parks, they're okay. Not my fav just cause I have this thing about water and most of the parks end pools are like super deep and that freaks me out!

I'm okay with the beach too, I guess because the ocean is so big and stuff and you don't hear of people getting sick from it. Though if I hear of disgusting things at the beach I do stay away from it for a while. I don't like roller coasters either. I go on the other rides at the theme parks though. I just hate it when they put in a new ride and it's inside a building where I can't see it and I don't know if it's a roller coaster or not. I avoid them until someone can tell me for sure what they are.

| Oooooh boy. XD I am OBSESSED with roller coasters. To the point where I want to take a whole summer and hit every amusement park in the US. So, um.... I guess you could say that amusement parks are more enjoyable for me than a water park is. You know, besides the fact that I don't really like water.... at all. A shower is nice, and a pool can be fun... but other than that, no. Beaches scare me to death, and I almost always refuse to go into the water, and hurtling into water down a slide is just petrifying to me.
My favorite rides thus far has been The Incredible Hulk and Dueling Dragons at Islands of Adventure in Florida and Apollo's Chariot ad The Griffon at Busch Gardens in Virginia. Given that you go once and get in free the rest of the summer if you're a VA resident, I've taken to riding the Griffon numerous times a week, and there's still something that gets you when you're hanging for 10 seconds, looking down at the 205 foot, 90 degree drop.

| Amusement parks are more fun for me because they have more of a variety of rides. Also, at one water park I went to, I got an ear infection from too much water in my ear. It was still fun, though.
I've been to Disneyland which was charming, great memories. LegoLand, also in California had good rides, shops, and dioramas. In Barcelona, there's a great old amusement park that I love, with lots of exciting rides. I used to be terrified of rollercoasters and upside-down rides but my cousin convinced me to ride them, and I got over my fear and had a lot more fun. The park I go to most often is Canobie, in New Hampshire. It has a lot of classic and thrilling rides, and a water park so you get both experiences.

| I'd say amusement parks, I just hate getting wet, especially if I'm in clothes and not a swimming costume. But water parks can be fun, I'd definitely be going in shorts and a cossie though.
