Annoying Sounds

What daily/rare sounds do you find annoying?
What should be annoying that you find you can surprisingly handel.

At the moment, my room mate's alarm has been going off since I got up which was like 45 min ago. Possibly before that. Its actually quietest in my room, and just a back ground noise, so its not annoying unless I go into the living room or kitchen. And its amazing that she can sleep through it, because its loud in the other rooms, and even louder in her room because her door is shut, and it is right next to her head. She does this a lot though.
But my cell phone is also dying and its doing a low ring every once in a while. I should charge it, and I will once I figure out what to eat and knock on roomie's door, but I find this soft ring more annoying than the constant blair of the alarm. Strange.

I hate when my mom texts me at five o clock in the morning or earlier and my cell phone vibrates every two seconds until I go and check teh message. I hate this. Especially when I dont have to get up for a while. Urg.

Theres this sound my brother makes with this toy and it's like a buzzing/sreeching sound that I can hear from anywhere I am. and it drives me INSANE. The sound is like someone is scratching a chalkboard with the nails by my ears D:


I don't get annoyed by things like gum chewing, and pencil tapping, lol

I hate when people burp. I hate when they burp on purpose and they make these really long burps that are so annoying. It makes me want to wrench because they sound like they are going to throw up what they ate for supper. Its gross. I also hate when they smell.

Dont get me wrong I don't mind burps as a rule. As long as you don't try to make the longest one you can. That is horrible.

I also hate when people smack their lips or sniffle their nose when I am trying to take a test and I am concentrating really hard. I'm so into it that it drives me crazy when they interrupt my thoughts. I feel like yelling SHUT UP!

Trans: DX My mother doesn't text me, but she knows not to call me before at least 8:00, because not only is it mean, but she probably won't be having a coherent conversation.
XD Burps don't annoy me.
Smacking lips while test taking is annoying, but sniffling I can understand. Sometimes allergies pop up at the worst time. What I hate more, even though its like the same thing is when theres enough snot in their nose, that they whistle when they breath. Oh man I wanted to punch a classmate for that like a month ago even though it was uncontrollable.

Alyssa: Hehehe I think toy manufacturers use the most annoying sounds on purpose. Its the sounds that kids love the most, partly because it annoys everyone else.
Those don't usually bother me, but every once in a while they will. Its really strange.

Oh and my roomie turned off her alarm! And I didn't have to get up! Now its just my cell phone.

My dog likes to bark whenever I am trying to go to sleep. That annoys me to no end, because I have to drag myself out of bed in a half-asleep stupor and yell at them to stop.

Gum chewing...in specific places. Like, while doing my hair. Why was the hair lady smacking gum while doing my hair? Or in class, during a test...there's no reason to smack gum people! Chew quietly.

I hate sniffles during tests only because I know that soon I'm going to be sniffling too. ): The sound I really hate is when my dog starts scratching at a door. Seriously. If you hear that often enough at 3 in the morning, you'd hate it too. x)

@Sasoriza I hate gum smacking too! D: Not chewing, just smacking. It seems really unnecessary.

@sychobunny I've heard that nose whistling! I HATE it! Whenever it happens to me though, I just breathe out of my mouth and hope for the best. >>

But I love the sound those little trucks and toys make, I find it adorable! What I don't like is when children make up their own noises because they usually go way over the top.

The girl who sits next to me in class always has a massive wad of gum in her mouth. I can hear her going "splurp slmack swoaaACK" from across the room. >_____< Regular gum doesn't bother me, but for god's sake you don't need a lump the size of Jupiter!

my fan...its an old fan, so u know how old fan sounds like XD

specially when im too tired and i need a good sleep, and that fan starts making its own sound...u know the "kree" sound ...

Those mocking birds that need to sing at 3 in the morning are pretty annoying, but nothing tops the noise that my sister makes as she pulls off her way to long finger nails. >_< I hate that noise and she does it in quiet places. I want to hand her nail clippers but being a stupid preteen she'll just roll her eyes, cause she knows better.

I have to say I never acted like her when I was that age.

I hate the noise of a dying cellphone. DX

Also, I'm using an old crappy phone since I left mine in the washer, and the white noise in the background just drives me insane. I can't wait until my dad comes back so I can get a new one.

I never charge my cellphone, so I always hear that little reminder. Over and over again. I can't even think of an onomatopoeia for it, but it's really annoying.

I hate the sound of a classmates voice. I dislike him, and when he talks I feel like gagging him so he'd shut up >< ... but meh, I survive...

I just can't concentrate on anything when their around. Their squeaky little voices are my enemy.
