| Dial up is slow as crap, and broadband is just about the opposite. XD That's sadly the extent of my knowledge.

I talking about like Modems, USB, Ethernet and stuff like that.

I think so too. I remeber using dial up to check my Yahoo Mail and it took forever to load the page, drove me nuts.

| XD Yeah.
It just hit me; ethernet is a wireless connection, or at least for me it is. We use it on our second computer and it's about the same as my broadband in here.

| Well I think you would know if you had dial up. XD It connects through the phone line and when you sign on it has to call a number and make all the dialing noises while it does so, and it is very slow. DSL and cable are both high speed and what most people have now. In fact if you have an external modem that you connect to either via an ethernet cord, USB cord, or wirelessly, you're probably on high speed.
