| It sort of depends on who you ask, really. Some people would say the still images are art, and others would say it's tasteless porn. But all that really matters is what you think.
For example, I draw my figures naked before I add their clothes in order to tell how said clothes would fit onto the body. Some girl was walking by just as I was starting to draw the fabric on the body, and I could hear her tell her friends "OMG that girl's drawing naked people!!" It was...irritating, to say the least.
I draw risque and "pornographic" images quite a bit, though they never leave my sketchbook due to having no place to publish them. Also the fact that they're made more or less for my own advancement in drawing. Seeing the nude body and how it can be...tangled with another body helps one get a better sense of anatomy.
That being said, I find that there's a line between erotica and straight out porn. Hentai tends to deal with only a few certain fetishes, while erotica shows a more...I suppose romantic view of sex, such as how the two react to one another. Sex itself is a beautiful thing if you connect more than primal need to it, and some artists show obvious care in making it appealing.

| Haha, I never drew it in school; but at home. My mother never SAID anything to me about it, but she found my stash in a cigar box that was mine. Somehow she picked the lock... oh well. I need to start drawing again in general.

| i get annoyed that it's often viewed as "normal" or "natural" or "a guy thing" to like porn/hentai and when a girl does it she's a perv or w/e
i see hentai as both art and porn, i draw often and am always marvelling at other artists work (with boobies or not) so yea i like it from both angles
i also get REALLY annoyed with all the censorship (specially on DA which i am like addictd to!) where you're not even allowed to IMPLY intercourse anymore (or draw hard ons) it's really hard finding a place (for non-furries, cuz fur affinity is GREAT on this stuff) to post stuff of a sexual nature and have security (no people stealin your stuff) and proper feedback (as well as "omg she's hot! fap! and so on) T.T;

| Yep, seems furry places are the only decent ones really, since they're more open about things and make sure to keep things safe due to the general...everything that comes along with furry stuff.
And why do you have to be furry to enjoy furry art? Even porn? I like both, but I'm not a furry. :/ Also, furries are insanely fun to draw.
