| Harry smiled warmly at Hermione over the Gryffindor table in the Great Hall. He picked up another piece of toast. "Yes Hermione. I did do my Transfigurations homework." He said, rolling his eyes and earning a slap on the back of the head from his friend. "Hey...what was that for?" He asked pouting slightly, to which he grin.
He pulled his timetable out of his pocked and inspected it. "Damn. Double potions first." He said, a little ball of dread forming in his stomach, before it was crushed by some toast. At least it was the only lesson for the day with the Slytherins. Transfiguration and Charms were with the Ravenclaws.

| Draco sat at his own house table, he looked around him, many of the other older Slytherins were no longer there. After the war had taken place many of them had refused to return, what had shocked the school and maybe Potter his self, was that Draco had returned and no charges were ever filed against him. Now instead of Crabbe and Goyle with him at his side, only Blasie was now there. Draco had watched his father become a puppet to a mad-man and Draco had refused to be apart of it. So he had fled with his God-Father, since Snape had been a spy for the light, Dumbledore had agree to let Draco stay in the order, but had kept it a secret from Potter and his friends.
Draco now sat there listening to Blasie chatter on about something, Draco just sighed. He wanted his favorite class to start, he loved Potions well almost loved it, it could be better if Potter and his gang weren't there.

| Hermione stood up sharply. "C'mon Harry. We've got five minutes before potions." The Golden-Boy stood up slowly with a sigh, and shouldered his bag before looking at Ron, who grinned up at him.
"Hey, mate. It's not my fault...I wasn't the one who chose potions." Ron was right, Harry needed potions to do what he had always wanted to do; be a healer.
((So it's Blaise and who that blow up their potion?))

| (( It can be Goyle and I'll play Blasie, I just forgot when post it was meant to be Goyle blowing up the potion, so I figured I juat make it where Draco had cut them out of his life))
Draco sighed. " Come on Blasie, Potions with the Gryffindorks" Draco told him. Blasie let off a chuckle. He and Draco grabbed their bags and left the great hall. The walked across the entrance, and to the door that lead to the steps that took them down to the dungeons. Which then led them to their class, the took there normal seats next to each other.

| ((Ok. I'll play Snape.))
Hermione and Harry made their way to the dungeons where they had their potions lessons with Snape. Harry held in a shudder when he thought about what Snape had done during the war. They sat at the front of the classroom as per usual, waiting for their teacher to enter the classroom and give out their instructions.

| Draco and Blaise talked quietly. Draco wanted class to start, he was bored and didn't feel like dealing with Blaise. He just wanted to stand over a brewing potion.

| Snape strode into the classroom in a foul mood, slamming the door behind him. "We're doing a test today. Potter, Malfoy. Granger, Parkinson. Goyle, Zambini..." He finished reading out the list of names and looked up. "Well, why haven't you moved?" He asked, sitting down and flicking his wand at the board causing the chalk to write the instructions.
Harry sighed and shouldered his bag, standing up slowly and moving to where Malfoy and Zambini were. "Scuse me Zambini." He said quietly, not wanting to look at Malfoy any more than he had to. It was bad enough that they had to work together.

| Draco sighed, just his luck he was paired with Potter. Blaise gave Draco a sympathetic look. " Later Draco" He said. He grabbed his things and moved next to Goyle. Draco looked up to the bored and started writing what they would need to know.

| Harry sat down, and also copied the notes from the board. He was very glad that Hermione had given him some caligraphy lessons over the holidays; his handwriting was legible now, almost neat.
"Go." Snape said, before looking down at the pages he had to mark from the first years' lesson the day before.
"I'll get the ingredients." Harry said when he had finished, getting up sharply. "Can you put the fire on?" He didn't bother waiting around to see if Malfoy could, and instead walked quickly over to where Hermione was at the ingredients cupboard.

| Draco glared at Harry's back. He went over and started the fire. Of course he could do such a simple thing. He really should be asking Harry if he was going to be able to get the right ingredients.

| Harry returned after a short chat with Hermione, mainly her complaining about how Malfoy might be able to teach him some things about potions. He put the ingredients down on the desk carefully, and looked at the instructions on the desk.

| Draco didn't see a word. He just grabbed one of the ingredients needed and started chopping it. The sooner this potion was the done, the sooner Draco could leave.

| Harry began preparing the other ingredients to be put in the potion, occasionally looking over at Snape's form. It was strange that the man wasn't lording over them as he usually did in a Potions lesson; and Harry wondered if he wasn't feeling well.
"Malfoy?" He asked, quietly because the room wasn't that noisy. "When it says crush, do you use your knife to ease the moisture out first?"
((Shall we have the explosion soon?))

| " No Potter you crush it with the moisture still there it's a key ingredient of the potion" Draco said. God why did Snape pair him with the twit Potter.
Draco continued working on the potion while his friend Blasie and Goyle continued to botch their potion, it seemed as if the didn't care so instead of crushing what need to be crunched Goyle just tossed it in. " You suppos-" Blasie said.
The Potion started to bubble and smoke.
(( How about now?))

| ((Ok. Sure thing.))
"Thanks Malfoy." Harry muttered, before beginning to crush the bean up, making sure he didn't ease the moisture out first.
"Harry!" Ron yelled, drawing the Gryffindor's attention to the potion behind him and Malfoy, which was bubbling dangerously. She started to edge backwards as Snape looked up, a worried gleam entering his eyes.
Suddenly, the cauldron exploded, showering Malfoy and Harry was a purple goo. Snape had managed to errect a shield over the rest of the class, but Harry was knocked to the floor with the force of the explosion.
He shook his head as the black smoke cleared, and looked down at himself. He was covered with purple sticky stuff...euck, he thought.
