[Rai-Rai]

Well this is a roleplay between Me and Raven-Hollow if you aren't either one then no posting please. You may view it though.

Plot:
"It is said that there are many things that mortals find hard to understand, the existences of fayries, the fae themselves, elves, centaurs, vampires, were-beasts, and everything and anything else that is mythical in the universe. This however poses not a problem for one place, this such places is a school, not just any school, this a school for all those outcasts who don't seem to fit anywhere in the world, but whom all seem to belong here. Settled within what some would call the ancient area of Transylvania where the vampires of ancient lore make their home. Nestled within a secluded spot you will find the place of which I speak, the place some can only think of as a place of legend, a place of myth. Here it is where you will find the place where all of mortal myth reside and learn. Its is the University for the Mythics. This is such a place where we find ourselves at this present time and year. A year where fantasy and myth are starting to rise up and become reality."

The school itself is a castle like structure in its own right, in the gothic style of architecture. Its is an old structure with many secret passages, a large library with books over any subject, and the students even get to stay in their own rooms there as well on the second floor. Classes are held on the first floor and in various other areas on campus in other smaller buildings. The dinning room serves meals three times a day like any other school. There is even a cemetary for the zombies, a lake for the merfolk, and a large forest surrounging the entire school. One might want to be careful when traversing through the forest, as school rules of killing, eating other students, and maiming other students don't apply within the dark forests so be wary if you dare to travel within the forests.

Name: Selena Cross
Age: 17
Class Rank: Senior
Species: Were-cat
Weapon(s)/Power(s): Ability to change into a panther,claws,teeth. In her human form she uses twin daggers and dark shadow/earth magic.
Personality: Quiet,calm, level headed,loyal,caring,and moody at times. She is always one to stick up for what she believes in.
Bio: Selena hailes from Egypt though from her delecate pale skin and brillant blue eyes one might not see how she could be from Egypt. However she was born in Egypt. She was once the member of a pack of were-cats that lived there. There was a great tragedy, all of her family and her pack was murdered. She is now the last know Egyptian were-cat. After the death of her parents the leader of the clan of vampires that ravanged her home took pity on her due to the fact his son seemed to take a intrest in her. So her life was spared. Now at the present time she is older now, and travels with the son of the vampire coven. She is also destined to be his mate. She has now followed him to an old castle like school for reasons unknown to her.

Personality: Quick to anger if anyone messes with Selena,jokester,level headed,intellegent.
Bio: Son of the vampire coven whom slaughtered Selena's whole family and pack. He never touched any of her family and was the one to find Selena hidding in one of the undergound passages in the pyramids as the pack had cleaned out one of them to be their den. He took pity on her and begged his father to spare her. Since then Darius has devoted his life to protect her and claims her as his mate. He would put his life on the line for her no matter what it takes. Darius being half vampire doesn't have to drink human blood to survive, however he will partake of Selena's blood if she allows him to, because of this he has the slightes hint of silver flecks in his eyes due to the fact he can and does drink were blood on occation. Now he has found himself at this school with her in tow following a lead of a rebelious enemy may be hiding within the school.

Personality: Calm,quiet,sincere,honest,all around nice guy, however his demon side is snide,manipulative,controling,distant
Bio: Hikaru is a halfling he is cursed with being half angel and half demon. Well he would consider it a curse anyway. Since he was born Hikaru led a confused life, with the haunting reality that he cannot reside within heaven nor hell, thus he is condemed to earth for his entire immortal exhistence. Frequently as a child and still yet he experiences frequent mood changes and even it would seem personality changes depending on which element within him is dominant. During each episode of his mood changes Hikaru remembers nothing of what was said nor done at that time and therefore can come off as naieve to most people who don't know him well.

Name: Grishba Mayaki
Age: 18

Species: Witch
Weapon(s)/Power(s): Dual Katana, Elemental Control (undiscovered to her)
Personality: Shy, Intelligent, Mysterious, Temperamental, and Caring. She can be a bit of a goof once she gets comfortable enough around someone. Smoker (she smokes when she is nervous or thinking a lot).
Bio: Grishba was born in Ireland, at the age of 8 she discovered she was unlike the other children and she moved with her supportive parents to Transylvania where she had heard of the University for the Mythics, from a local fortune teller. Around age 13 her parents were killed in a horrible accident and since then she has been living at the university dorms. She is an introvert and often come off as very rude, but she really just wants someone to talk to. Around 16 she came across a pair of katanas in the university's attic and has since been self-training with them. Occasionally when she is around candles will mysteriously light and papers will blow away when there is no wind; she often thinks this is due to her, but she is unsure as to how. Since her parents death she has shown a fondness for pain and has numerous body modifications, some visible, some not.
Appearance: Grishba is not the stereotypical old hag witch of the movies. She has long, flowing red hair down to her waist that she tends to wear in a french braid down her back. Her eyes are as green as the earth in the spring, but they are usually covered by thick rimmed black reading glasses; and her lips glisten with the slightest hint of lip gloss. Her skin is a pale white with a speckling of freckles on her cheeks. Her attire consists of mostly black and earthy tones. She can almost always be found in a long sleeve shirt, the reason is unknown to the public. Her pants are usually adorned with silver chains and her shoes are brown plaid "skater" shoes. She wears a silver ring on each finger, each has it's own background story; and a silver chain on her neck with a clover and a guitar pick laced on it. Her body is in no way a "twig", but she is not over weight either. She also has an assortment of body modifications, due to an addiction to pain.

It was dark, the wind whistled through the trees. The moon shown above peircing through the dark canopy like the flashlight of a small child lending light to those who were out this drab night. The forest was slilent not an owl hooted. All of a sudden there was a flash of gold, the ruffling of bushes, was that a shadow that moved there among the darkness of the trees? Then there was the sound of soft foot falls, the bush ruffled once more and a sleek medium sized black cat emerged. The foot falls became closer and closer. The cat tilts its head toward the noise, ears pricked up and listening. Soon something moved out from behind a tree. The figure moves out into the clearing it was the figure of a man. The panther steps closer and a purr starts to resonate deep within its chest. Gold eyes flick over the pale features of the figure as they glisten in the moonlight. There was an eerie feel about each of these figures, however they seemed more comfortable around eachother than anything else. As the panther apporoaches the figure seems to relax its tense stance. Moving closer to the panther, it sees the pale features, dark clothing and the brilliant green eyes that were so aluring to others but had only settled upon the panther with as much of and intense burning love as they mirrored now only for the sleek and beautiful creature that was before him. The figure of the young man finally closes the gap as they stand facing eachother in the clearing. He finally speaks. "Selena you found your way back to me we must be on our way though." The panther seems to nod her head and move to his side. He strokes her sleek black fur lovingly for a moment and then as if unspokingly they each set off at the same time.

There was the flutter of wings this night. The breeze was nice and picked up quite nicely. The moon shown beautifully, and the cool breeze was refreshing. The flap of wings grew louder and hit Selena's ears. She payed the sound no heed at the moment however. Soon the figure that was flying through the night shy lands just outside the edge of the dark forest in a flutter of wings and a flurry of white feathers. The few that blew with the wind fluttered to the ground softly. The sound of footsteps were unheard to most but to the two who were making their way to the edge of the forest. The winged figure folded its wings and made its way to a large castle like building that was nestled there out at the edge of the forest. This was also the destination of the other two who were not that far behind the winged creature.

After class, Grishba retired to her room and swiped up her swords. She began practicing, very gracefully she moved, with each sword stroke she looked like she was dancing. After a few hours she laid down her babies, her swords, and walked to the window. She sat at the window seat and stared at the moon, it was a beautiful, peaceful night; the leaves were blowing in the breeze. She reached for the window latch and unlocked it so she could feel the cool breeze on her face. As she opened the window she spotted some movement at the edge of the trees. She squinted to try and see through the shadows. What she saw were three figures, two seemed to be close, almost fond of each other; the other was a little further ahead, but they were all heading towards one place, her home, the University. Grishba quickly got up and ran down the stairs, she waited shyly at the foyer.

Wings folded he quickly made his way along. His thoughts swirled at random. One thought quickly threading into the other. He had to stay in control it would do him no good to loose control at a place like this. 'Just keep moving you will be there in a few moments.' He thought to himself. A few moments later he was upon the school. Steping across the threshold, he moved on up to the doors of the big mansion like castle. Passing the lake along the path, he stops to stare at his reflection with a scowl. Then shaking it off his features became blank as a slate once more. He was familar with this place he shouldn't be so skittish. Walking up to the door his boots softly making a clack, clack with each step he took. Opening the door he steps into the main hall silently.

The two figures were close now. Selena stoped as she spotted a white feather on the ground. The male figure stops and looks at her. The sleek panther looks up at him and with unspoken communication he nods his head knowing exactly what she was going to do. Pulling something out of his coat he lay it upon the ground and went on ahead. The panther then there in the shadows at the edge of the forest transforms into a beautiful young woman. Brushing her hair out of her eyes and standing now the young woman picks up the midnight black clothing and slips it on. It was a short black dress. She then moved on to catch up with the other guy barefooted she padded along softly and touched his arm. He smiles and pauses then to pull out something from the pack he was carrying and handed them to her. If someone would have been able to see them they would have seen he had passed her a pair of calf high boots. Pulling these on the young girl slid two twin daggers into each boot as they were passed to her. The young girl had picked up a feather from the ground that she now handed to the young man, he examined it then stowed it away. They soon reached the threshold as well and stoped near the lake. Not yet going into the large mansion like building that was new to them.

Grishba pulled herself around the corner and watched the newcomer from a distance. She could clearly see out the door behind him, she watched as the two others came in the door. As she tried to back away and go safely back up stairs she tripped over a coat rack and knocked it over, making quite a bit of a ruckus. Her cheeks red with embarrassment, she picked up all that had fallen over and quickly ran up the stairs. She made her way up to her room and closed the door behind her. She felt so embarrassed that she just slid down the door and lay her head on her knees.

The young halfling turned just as he heard something hit the floor. He watched silently as the girl who had knocked over the coatrack, pick it back up then flee up the stairs. 'Hmm...I don't blame her I have that sort of effect on all people.' He thought, even though these thoughts invaded his mind he showed no outward emotion at the moment.

The young black haired girl tilts her head, she with her accute hearing had heard something fall within the building. Walking foreward she opens the door and peeks in only to see a young winged halfiling standing in the middle of the hall. The young man walks up behind her and flicks his eyes to where hers was, his peircing green eyes fell on the boy. He lays a hand on the young girls shoulder and opened the door walking up to the young halfling. He adresses him. "Excuse me...fellow student. I assume you are one. Would you mind helping out me and my partner." He put an arm around the young girl as she moves to his side. "We are transfer students here and were wondering whom we could speak to about our...ah...sleeping arrangements if you will."

The young halfling turns and eyes them both. His piercing red and blue eyes fell on the young girl. "Ah...well you will want to talk to the headmaster about all that..." He continues to eye the young girl. "Forgive me for saying so but you are quite the cute thing. My name is Hikaru Hoshi. Might I enquire as to yours." He asks bowing to her.

The young girl eyes him and the pale young man glares at the halfling. "I...I'm Selena...Selena Cross..." She mutters and hides behind the pale young man. "Yes and I am Darius Dracul her partner." He put empahasis on the word partner.

Hikaru eyes him and frowns. "Ah I see pity...It was a pleasure meeting the both of you...I can show you to the headmasters office then escort you to your rooms if you would like." He actually smiles a bit at Selena. Then casts his heterocrome eyes to the stairs. He would have to find that other young girl later to see if she was alright. Moving along he shows the two to the headmasters office. Then waits for them to come out.

Soon they came out with a few papers and told Hikaru they would be sharing a room on the third floor which was the dorms that were coed. The second floor down one hall held the guys dorms and the second hall held the girls. Hikaru nods and shows them to their rooms then bows and takes his leave. He then walks down the girls hallway looking for that other young woman he had spied earlier.

Meanwhile Darius and Selena became settled. They unpacked their things and started to talk. "So Darius any reason why you dragged me all the way out here. I mean you have to have a reason to." Darius was slient. "In due time everything will be clear dear, just give it time." he wasn't for sure that there was an enemy hiding here and he wanted to find out before even attempting to involve her in this. It was an old vampiric feud, one she would be best left out of. She had however insisted on tagging along and he wasn't going to deny her the right to follow him.

Grishba got up from the floor and moved back to the window, it was still open from earlier. She sat on the window sill and stared at the moon. She lifted her sleeve a bit and looked at her arm in the moon light, it was covered by scars, she scratched and quickly pulled her sleeve back down as if she was ashamed even though no one was around to see. Grishba's stomach was growling at her; she got up from the window sill and closed the window. As she walked to the door she grabbed one of her katanas. She was on a mission for food.

Hikaru meandered through the halls floating up the guys and down the girls hall looking for that girl. He flew above all the other people ignoring the stares he was given by the others. Something was compelling him to find that young girl he just didn't know what. Honestly he didn't know how he would actually approach and talk to her. He wasn't what you would call a people person. He never spoke unless spoken to most of the time.

Darius paced back and forth in front of the bed as he thought about a plan to find out if there was indeed an enemy within these halls from what he had seen which wasn't much that they accepted all kinds of creatures here. Selena sat on the bed crosslegged and watches him for a while. She stiffles a yawn and looks toward the window. The moon was shining brighty through the window pane, any other night they both would be out there hunting. "Darius...dear whats on your mind?" She ask him after a long stretch of silence. "Nothing..nothing..." She frown her brows kniting together. "Your lying." She huffs. He turns to her and grins. "You know me so well." After a moment Selena's stomach growled loudly. "Come on Kitten lets go get you some food." He scoops her up bridal style off the bed and walks out the door with her. Walking down the hall he ignores the stares from some of the few students that were on this floor and whisked her away to the elevator. He had a pretty good idea where the lunchroom was since his coven lived in a house much like this one back home.

[Raven-Hollow]

Grishba made her way to the lunchroom, as she entered an empty hallway she began to practice with her single katana. She knew these halls like the back of her hand. With each step she swung the sword with a graceful, powerful stroke. She began her "dance" yet again. Quickly she stopped, she had heard something not too far behind her. She put the katana away and walked the rest of the way to the lunchroom. When she got there she reached for a couple pieces of bread, some peanut butter and jelly, and a carton of milk. She quickly went to an empty seat and began to make her sandwich. As she sipped her milk and ate her freshly made peanut butter and jelly sandwich she watched the rest of the people with a careful eye as though she were studying them. When she finished her sandwich she pulled a small sketchbook and pen from her jacket and started to draw.

Hikaru finally not seeing her within the mass of people decides to make his way down to the lunch room. Moving down to the floor he doesn't stop and phases through the floor using his dark magic to practically melt into the floor with a portal and appear within the lunch room landing softly on his feet. Looking over the food he snags an apple and some grapes then looks around the lunchroom with his heterochrome eyes. They fall upon the girl from earlier. Smiling a bit to himself he walks over to her his wings folded now. He silently sits down and pulls a grape off the bunch he had grabbed and pops it into his mouth sitting there silently for a while eating. He waited for her to notice him as he ate quietly and cast her glances every now and then.

Darius walked briskly his walk more like a run-walk then a normal walk. He still was faster walking than any of the other students. Walking into the lunchroom carrying Selena he places her on her feet at the end of the line. Pulling out a tray for the both of them he grabs a steak for her and a raw one for himself. He liked them still bleeding for obvious reasons. Selena looks up at him as he grabed her favorite. "I'm capable of getting that myself you know." He looks up at him glaring. "Aww...how cute you are trying to be all intimidating." He leans down and kisses her forehead. Then picks up the tray and grabs her a carton of milk. She looks up at him and waits. He ofcourse wasn't going to let her carry her food again. Selena moves off and he follows her to the empty end of the table where Hikaru and another girl sat. Darius puts Selena's milk and plate infront of her with her silverware. "Oh..your actually going to let me open my milk and cut my steak on my own?" She teases him. "Why you want me to cut it?" He retorts back in a teasing tone. "No..." She blushes and frowns at him as he reaches over and places his hands over hers acting like he was going to help her cut her steak. He smiles and then pulls away so she could eat without him bothering her.

Continuing to draw, Grishba glanced up to look at her subject, but was shocked to find a new face in front of her. She jumped a bit and quickly calmed herself when she realize it was the boy from earlier, the one at the foyer. She returned to her drawing, hoping to herself he did not notice her slight stare. She pulled another pen from her jacket, this time a red one, and continued to draw. The drawing was a quick, sketchy figure study of a girl at the table in front of her... or that had been in front of her. She glanced, occasionally, back at the boy, but never for longer than a few seconds. He was a handsome, almost charming looking fellow, but with a rugged and dark side. She thought to herself, "He's kinda cute." She smiled.

Hikaru notices her glance but doesn't say a word. He notices she was sketching and tilts his head. "I'm not in your way or anything am I?" He finally asks quietly. He flicks his eyes toward her and quietly awaits her response, he very quickly casts his eyes over her taking in her features.
'Charming young girl. She seems a bit too quiet for her own good. I'll have to see if I can get her to talk to me.' He thought then a dark though intergected. 'Hah yeah right better you see our scythe drag across her slender pale neck.' He shook that dark thought from his mind they always invaded when he didn't want them too. They were so harsh and violent lately he would take to the forest and train until he was so tired that the evil in him would actually pass out from exhaustion besides what was a few evil entities slain any difference? At least there would be less to deal with in the forests when people actually did travel in there.

Darius had started in on his steak his eyes moving over to look at Hikaru. 'Good the halflings got his eyes set on someone else I would hate to have to put him in his place.' He looked back over at Selena lovingly and watches her eat for a while. He wasn't in any hurry himself and she was slow at eating anyway. Selena cut her steak and was nibbling at it slowly she didn't eat fast like most were-beasts but she did eat quite a bit due to her high motabolism. She too a sip of her milk and flicked her eyes up. Darius was staring at her again unblinkingly like he often did. She tilts her head. "There something on my face?" She asks him curiously. "Nope just a whole lot of pretty." He replies with a sheepish smile. She blushes and grumbles something illegible then drops her head and starts to eat again. He chuckles and takes a few more bites of his steak, it was still mooing practically just the way he liked his 'human' food at least. He would have to go hunting with Selena later he knew she would want to phase and stretch her legs.

Grishba glanced up at the boy when she heard a new voice and noticed he was looking at her. "Oh, in my way? No, no, not at all. I was actually just finishing up." She closed her sketchbook and put it, along with the two pens back in her pocket. She quickly grabbed her trash and gulped down the last bit of milk from the carton. As she headed for the door she threw away her trash. She thought to herself, "He seemed nice, but I'm oddly more nervous around him than anyone else." She stepped into the hallway and headed back up to her room.
