Things about the Mido market that baffle me:

Just some things I think about when browsing the marketplace, that truly baffle me!

The price of December and January ARIs(lower deity wings and staff, and fallen deity wings and horns). How is an ARI that is not available anymore cost half of a CURRENT ARI. Especially that these are good items. The fallen deity horns might be my favorite ARI yet. I would never sell an older ARI for less than the going rate of a current one. If you are one of these people that would sell it for the price of a single piece of gold WHY DO YOU? You blow my mind. I'm not saying ARIs should be super expensive, but if the fallen deity stuff goes for 1k a piece then current ones should go for 750silver a piece, in my opinion.

The price of the baby ice, earth, and fire dragon wings. The earth ones have risen slightly, but these have been made into a VERY rare drop, yet the prices haven't changed since there was a large supply of them.

Do these thoughts ever cross your mind? xD

I think everything on Midorea is cheap right now. I wonder why the price is dropping so much. I guess its not really a bad thing. Its a good time to make investments for the future.

I dont see anything wrong with the pricing on wings. There still obtainable from the battle system. In fact now that the battle system is cheaper to heal there will probably be more people playing it. Things that are still obtainable in one way or another are always valued pretty low. I personally wouldnt pay much for something that I could get myself free with a little hard work.

I'd say people are desperate to get the items before they leave the shops but there is more than enough of them for sale for that to be the problem o.o

As far as ARI's go, you can blame the inflation and deflation of gold. Some users decided that a good price was 2k per gold, yet hardly anyone would buy an ARI for 4k. Once people realized this, the price of gold dropped, which some people fought against, but along with that, the ARI's priced at 2k dropped as well, which should've been left alone because gold was then 1k per piece. Thus continues the battle of the value of gold vs. ARI’s.

Does all of that make any sense?

Personally I value gold more than the aris because its more flexible. Its almost always like that. Because buying gold allows you to buy your choice rather than the item there selling. If you play MMOs that exchange cash shop currency you tend to notice that. Even on gaia unopened letters are worth more most of the time because it has more possibility's attached to it.

While that's true, my personal philosophy doesn’t follow. While gold is always nifty to have on hand for items, I can see my choices and make them accordingly. I could either buy gold and purchase them, or buy them from another user, depending on which is more expensive. Usually buying them straight from the user works best.

That's the smart thing to do but sadly for some reason it doesn't really seem to register.

Haha, I understand that.

Gaia's system is more complicated obviously. They release letters before you even know what the items are, and in all the hype, users buy those letters and may later realize that they don't even like either of the items, and unlike in places like this, they can't save the letter for next month and wait for those items.

Then again MC's there aren't very popular anymore.

I know the wings are still available but in FOUR months, and I battle quite a bit I have gotten single pair of wings. However, with the exception of the earth dragon wings, their prices haven't changed since they were extremely easy to get. I'm not saying they should or shouldn't, it just surprises me that they haven't. :3

Demand isn't very high for them. Just because people would like to have the item, doesn't mean that they're going to buy it.

Also, people ARE trying to buy wings, but no one's selling at the requested price. Sellers have to put some effort into that too, you know.

When I put my storage inventory up everybody asked about my dragon wings, more so than any other item. o:

I wish I would have been around when the earth dragon wings were dropping like hotcakes! xD I only caught the wave of baby ice dragon wings.

I traded my spare in a trade for something I really wanted, but somebody would have had to seriously bribe me to buy them with silver.

I'm surprised to see you buying them actually, I would have assumed you already had more than one pair. :3
