| hugely mistaken for bugs and insects the spider is(to me) the ugliest thing in the world and there so god damn creepy, i can't even look at them on tv let along walking past one in a reptile house!! is there anyone else here who fears them as much as me!?

| I quite enjoy spiders, actually. Those long-legged ones occupy a lot of the area around my grandma's house and I'd always let them crawl on my fingers. XD

| I don't really mind spiders, but I don't really enjoy being near them. Especially in my room or slowly coming down when they're above me. -shivers-

| Haha, I remember once when I went to Missouri for vacation with my grandparents and cousin, and right on the sidewalk of our timeshare place was a tarantula! ^_^ It was fun taking pictures of the thing.

omg i'd crap myself and run for miles if i saw a tarantula.. there so creepy and gross.. i hate there legs and eyes *shudders*

| I can't stand watching them on tv, seeing them in the store, looking at a picture of a spider... smashing a spider that's invaded my home. I freak out just a little bit (read: a lot).
Interestingly enough, daddy long legs don't bother me.

My irrational fear comes from watching the guy in arachnophobia be bitten by a General tarantula and his body goes all green and dried out. I saw it when I was very little, it scared me shitless.
