Some Thought for the next event

So I think I read somewhere that Midorea is going to have quite a large event coming up in April.

I was just thinking it would be cool to involve the regular site NPCs in the event. It would be fun to learn more about the NPCs we see everyday, and all avatar websites meed NPC fandom, but that's kind of hard to indulge in when we know pretty much nothing about any of the NPCs except for Alu. :3

Anyway, this is a good idea, it would help people get more into Midorea itself as opposed to just being into the community here.

Plenty of avatar sites involve NPCs with events and have NPC fandoms. :3

I think it is something to help promote consistent active users and endear them to the site, give more room for discussion, etc..

We don't really have many NPCs to begin with. I'm not particularly interested in them either. I suppose it'd be pretty interesting but storylines don't generally bring people to an avatar site.

I'm not talking about it bringing people here I'm talking about it keeping some people here.

We're building up a decent size of NPCs too. We have Miu, Alu, Uro, the magicks and novelties NPC, I assume we will be getting a NPC for snips salon as there is a spot for one, and eventually I assume all the other stores will have shop keepers. o.o

I can't really give much detail but it will be sort of like the Halloween event with the NPC's hosting contests/games. We'll see about including them in the storyline too though.

Personally I never give a fig about any NPCs on avatar sites, it's just not what interests me. It'd be nice if Midorea came up with something totally different for an event than what everyone else does. Something unique. ^^;

True that broken.
The last events have been buy an item with the currency that you get for posting. Now I think the event commons can be sold for silver or whatever, but the other items you have to get by doing a special event.
For example. On menewsha you get the special event currency by hitting people with pillows...It could be something unique like that.

@Vito the only event(with no S) that has been buy something with currency from posting was the winter event.

The halloween event all the items came from battle, except for the special black cat item which came from participating in ari's event RP. There were also contests where you could earn pumpkins which at the end of the event could be traded in for other event items of your choosing.

Also how is that mene event unique? They already did it, gaia has done it before, and roliana did it this year for valentine's with the kissing and stabbing.

Actually, do to lag, Roliana had to take off the kiss and stab system

^Only during peak times, so it was not always off. Unless they ultimately had to remove but I never saw them mention anything about that.
