I'll answer the role questions since I'm the one who came up with them, and I will admit that I actually wrote out the first post for dear old Mum-mum. When the game begins, Mum will be full GM.

The PMs are allowed between everyone EXCEPT the awakened Vengeful Ghost and those deader than dead. Thus, the Vengeful Ghost can only talk through PM with the Fooled Seer, and that only after contact has been made. It's a nerf to the Vengeful Ghost, but a buff to the otherwise useless Fooled Seer.

The Alpha can only convert one person in the entire game (except the Traitor). The conversion bite is done instead of an attempted kill. The converted only finds out they've been converted once conversion is complete.

50% chance of succeeding is indeed random number generator. When the game begins, I'll be firing up the random list generator in Chrome for Mum...but won't be looking after that, as otherwise I'll be spoiled. Oddly enough, the Metagaming Ghost was thought up as a combination of Korrinn and you, along with thinking that the ComicFury Metagamer role was actually overpowered.

The Guardian can protect themselves if they so choose.

All of the above answers are subject to change should the GMM house-rule something different.

OK Kath. Those answers were about what I expected, except the bit about the Fooled Seer. I actually like that. Although it will be weird because all the Fooled's results will say 'villager' so they can't actually give the Vengeful Ghost any useful info. :P

If the Alpha tries to convert the Traitor do they lose the ability to convert? (I guess that's probably fair since next time they'll know who to kill!)

Also, aren't the ghosts supposed to be villagers? If they are neutral, just what is their win condition?

If the Alpha tries to convert the Traitor then the Traitor converts that night as per it's special and the 'convert anyone' ability is unused.

Ghosts count as Villagers for win purposes, but count as Neutral when viewed by the Seer.
