Eeeee! 1 left and the last four days before game start begins! Considering how likely it is that we'll get 11 people at this rate, I'll be tweaking the roles a little and introducing the first special regardless...but only when we get our seventh.

Maybe if we could offer prizes, people would feel more compelled to participate. I would love to offer up my silver hoard, but there might a conflict of interest since I also want to play the game. xP

I dunno... seems kinda cool, even without prizes. And how would the prize be given out, anyways? All members of the winning side?

If you'd like to offer up silver for a prize fund, then go ahead. Basically, I'll make a Gmail account and a mule to go with it, you hand silver over to the mule, and all winners get a percentage of the prize fund. Of course, winners must be alive or have met their own roles win condition (eg. the Village Idiot wins if they've been burned by the end of the game, not nommed).

EDIT: Okay, I'll update the first post soon, but if sending donations for the prize fund, send them to my new mule Gilnara, okay?

And a quick question- how are roles to be decided?

They're entirely random. I use this list randomizer twice: one for the players, one for the roles. Then I PM each person what their role is and, if they're a wolf, who the other wolf is.

Hmm OK. Usually in Werewolves, 'winning' is just defined as meeting your team's win condition, regardless of whether or not your character actually survives, unless it states specifically that you lose if you are dead. As a plain villager, a lot of the time I will purposely draw attention to myself in hopes that the wolves will come after me instead of the seer or another power role, because that maximizes my team's probability of winning. Under your rules, the game becomes more about self-preservation than about teamwork.

There's only so much splitting the prize fund, though. There's only 2000 silver in it last I checked. Plus, this game is based on mistrust and paranoia. I'm increasing that for more Fun.
