| There is a grove of trees, tall ones that let plenty of light through, and shake softly in the wind. The ground is covered in fallen leaves, soft grass, and moss. There's a meadow over this way, and a trail back to town that way.
In a clearing near the middle of the grove, a blanket is spread. It has been patched many times, much like the skirt of the girl floating crosslegged a few feet above it. The blanket is spread with food, much more than one person could eat. Pastries both savoury and sweet, cakes, fruit, soup, even a pot of tea.
The floating girl munches contentedly on a slice of mushroom pie and watches her surroundings, enjoying the sound of the leaves, and waits.
