| Hello everybody! 
As you can guess I've just joined and I'm a little excited.
It's been awhile since I joined a new community.
Everything is a little confusing but I'm sure to get used to it all soon.
I hope I will be welcomed and make plenty of new friends.

| Hey, welcome to Midorea! If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
We have an event going on, which you can learn about by clicking the little golden cluster of islands in the bar at the top of the page. You can see our event forum by clicking the Ocean Enclaves banner on the forum page, too.
If you want some general guidance, go to the Newcomers Help Center in this forum!
And, we recently updated our battle system, so you can learn about that by reading the Battle System Update thread in the News and Announcements forum.
