| "Sleepless in South Park" a chibibatmishu fanfiction
Disclaimer: I don't own South Park or its characters. I do own Sisely, while my best friend Jessica owns Kitten, Kris, and Katie. This plot is derived from the movie "Sleepless in Seattle" which is my favorite movie! ^^ Let's give them some credit as well! Now, on with the fic!
"God damn it Butters," Eric said angrily, "Did you eat the last of the cheesy poofs?" His blond haired roommate rolled his eyes. "You finished them off the other day," Butters replied, "If you want I can pick you up some when I go to the store today." "Whatever," was Eric's only response. Butters smiled knowing that was just Eric's way of saying, yes please. He had gone to school and grew up with Eric, so now that they were roommates together to share the rent of an apartment, he pretty much knew the other boy inside out. "You excited for Christmas?" Butters asked, trying to strike up a conversation. Eric sat down on the couch. "Duh, Butters. I talked to my mom and she is totally buying me the new game system this year." "A Playstation 3? No way, how lucky is that! Do you know what games you are getting with it?" "She didn't say. Wanted to keep something a surprise I suppose." Eric's eye then caught something green Butters had hung in the doorway earlier. "Mistletoe? Is that really nessasary? I mean there hasn't been a girl in here in forever." "Maybe you should get a date for Christmas Eric. It'll do you some good." Eric ignored the comment, thinking about the girl he loved but never acted on it. Butters bit his lip. Would his best friend ever move on? "I'm gonna hang out on the balcony," Eric said getting up and heading out the sliding glass doors.
Butters turned on the radio to his favorite night time program, Dr. Marcia Fieldstone of Network America. Tonight's program seemed to be about Christmas wishes. As Butters listened to the program, he looked out the glass doors out at Eric, then picked up his cell phone. ~*
"Horses, horses, horses," Sisely sang along with the radio as she drove North to Boulder from where she was currently working and living in Denver, "Jingle Bells. Jingle Bells. Jingle all the way!" She then reached down and began to play with the search button, hoping to find anything but Christmas music. The first station she got a hit on was talking about wishes. "What is your Christmas wish?" the voice on the radio announced. "My wish is to turn the radio station," Sisely said with a laugh and pushed the button. The next program was something about the health of your sleen. "Not on your life," Sisely sighed as she pushed the button again. But all she found was boring programs and Christmas music, most of which was Jingle Bells, and quite frankly, she was getting tired of hearing that song this year. Finally she settled back on the love program talking about Christmas wishes.
"This is Dr. Marcia Fieldstone of Network America. We got a caller on the line," the female voice spoke over the radio, "Go ahead caller. What is your name." "Leopold," Butters answered on the other line. Sisely couldn't help but giggle as she listened. "Thank you for calling. What is your Christmas wish this year?" "Well," the boy answered the question bashfully, "My wish is for my best friend and room mate to get a new girlfriend." "You don't like the one he has now?" asked Dr. Marcia. "Well, you see he doesn't have a girlfriend right now," Leopold answered, "He just keeps thinking about this girl he knows." "Leopold, is your roommate there now? I'd like to talk to him." Sisely gasped at this. "Wretched woman! Hang up the phone Leo!" she yelled at her radio." "Dude, can you come here a minute?" Leopold yelled to his friend, "There is someone on the phone that wants to talk to you." There was the sound of glass doors opening and someone coming in the room. Then Leopolds friend picked up the phone, "Yeah." "This is Dr. Marcia Fieldstone of Network America." "What are you selling?" the new male voice interupted, "the Ginsu knives?" "This is Dr. Marcia Fieldstone of Network America and you are live on the air." "Excuse me?" "Your roommate called and he is genuinely worried about you. He would like to help find you a girlfriend but are afraid you can't let go of this other girl." "You called a radio station?" Leopold's roommate said, obviously talking to the other boy. "Talk to her Eric, she's a doctor." Sisely's heart dropped at the name but continued to listen. "Of what, her first name could be doctor." Eric retored. "Please Eric, its his Christmas wish." Dr. Marcia continued. Eric gave a sigh of defeat. "God damn it," he breathed, "Alright." "Tell me Eric. Are you getting any sleep?" "He doesn't get any," answered Leopold. "How do you know?" Eric asked. "I live here," was Leopolds only reply. "Its just difficult this time of year," Eric said, "this girl really loved this time of year. Not the crappy weather, but the whole atmosphere of the holiday season." "Why don't you tell me what was so special about this girl." Eric laughed, "How long is your program?" He then took a deep breath. "Well it was a million tiny little things, that when you added them up I just knew we were suppose to be together. And I knew it from the very first time I met her. I was just taking her hand to help her out of the car and I knew it it. It was like... magic..."
Sisely sighed as she stopped to get something to drink. How romantic was this guy. Waiting for this girl he loved to come back. She sent her friend a quick text message that she was almost there and got back in the car again.
"So what are you going to do now?" asked Dr. Marcia to Eric, "This girl has moved away. Do you think you could move on as well?" "Well, Dr. Marcia," Eric said, "It's hard to imagine. I guess I'll just get out of bed every morning, breathe in and out all day long. Then after awhile, I won't have to remind myself to get out of bed every morning and breath in and out. And after a while I won't have to think about the perfect girl I lost because of my stupidity of not telling her how I feel."
As she pulled into her friends driveway, Sisely was on the verge of tears. All this was so so close and so familiar to her as well. Before she went to college, there too was someone special to her, but like the boy on the radio, didn't say a thing. ~*
"Sissi is here!" Kitten called happily as she saw her best friend pull in the driveway. Her husband Kris gave a laugh, "Give her a couple of minutes to get in here. It's too cold out there for you to be going out." Kitten anxiously awaited for the door to open.
