[SenselessPi]

The drow watched her curiously, then shrugged it off. She returned her gaze to the city skyline, and was immediately reminded somewhat of the city of her own birth. Since the sky had no stars to be seen thanks to the lights, she could pretend it was the top of a cavern, and that the buildings were just strangely shaped stalagmites. Imoyn quickly forced herself out of that line of thinking.

'It's much easier just to stay on the surface. The people may be annoying, but at least I don't have to peruse the streets constantly looking behind me for daggers.' she thought.

When her apple was finished, she threw it away and lay herself on the leather couch. She wasn't tired at all, but her body was tired of having to stand or sit up.

Amy removed the pillow from her face and looked over at Imoyn.

"You don't have to sleep on the couch you know, the bed is big enough for two people."

She lifted her head up and looked back at her strangely.

"You would let a strange elf sleep in the same bed with you?"

[LadyHarpy]

"I've let stranger things in my bed, your on the prettier end on the list." Amy said as she crawled under the covers.

"I won't bite, I promise."

Imoyn stood up, laughing at the last bit. She would be awake if anyone touched her at all, so she didn't necessarily find reason to fear the vampire. After all, their skirmish in the alley proved to both of them that if either one of them could get away faster in the dark, it was the drow.

"You've convinced me. Thank you again for the hospitality."

She pulled back the covers on the other side of the bed and slid under them. To her delight, the bed cradled her into it as if she were a baby, though she wouldn't know to compare it to the tender embrace a mother gives her newborn. In the Underdark, Matron Mothers were anything but loving, even to their prized daughters.

"This is nice..." she said softly.

Amy smiled and cuddled up to one of her many pillows.

"You are welcome, I owe you for attacking you in the alley...well, attempting to anyway."

She clicked a switch on the wall which turned off all the lights completely, leaving the room in complete darkness.

"Sleep tight."

Imoyn's darkvision kicked in as soon as the light went out. She barely even noticed the light had been turned off at all since she could still see everything with great clarity.

The drow shrugged and closed her eyes to try falling asleep. It took about half an hour of just lying there before she was dead to the world, so to speak.

Amy was sleeping deeply until the afternoon when the sound of a ding from the elevator and swish of the doors letting in a tall dapper man with long black hair a pale skin. He placed a large box on the kitchen counter and adjusted his suit and tie before grabbing a glass from the cabinet and filling it with cold water. He then walked over to Amy's side of the bed, clicked on the lights fully and yanked down the covers before dumping the whole glass on her head.

"Rise and shine dumb ass, you have work to do."

Amy jolted up and took in a harsh breath. She turned to the man with fire in her eyes, fangs flashing and hair wild.

"WHAT THE HELL ROLO!?" she roared.

"Get up, I need your help with the boxes of paper work, I have a compiled list of what you need to do today and I have your restock of blood."

The ding of the elevator woke the drow up. She had remained motionless, though, as the man walked in. She could see him perfectly in the still pitch black room, so she didn't fear him seeing her awake. The only reason she wasn't up and searching for a dagger at the time was because she remembered Amy mentioning only a few people had access to this floor.

However, when he dumped the icy water on Amy, Imoyn felt contempt rising. She understood that for some bizarre reason, men were originally the superior status in society, and even though society no longer held that view, males themselves still did.

Being a drow, born and raised in the Underdark, she had a hard time letting the insult to a fellow female slide.

"If we were in Menzoberranzan, boy, a cleric would strike you dead with a seven-headed viper whip for this affront to a female." she said. The man was not her superior in any way, shape or form, so she'd be damned if she let him show such disrespect.

The man stared at the elf for a moment before a smiled slipped onto his face, he turned to Amy.

"Finally came out of the closet I see."

Amy grew red in the face and swiftly punched the man in the nose, sending him over the dresser and into the living room area. He groaned loudly has he held his face in pain and Amy quickly got out of the bed and looked down at him.

"Don't bleed on my carpet jackass or so help me I'll tell master about your fling with the CEO of MECA."

The man slowly stood up and frowned deeply at Amy. He cracked his nose back into placed and walked over to the elevator.

"Get dressed and get down to the lobby, I have the documents you need and your blood packet's for the week."

He then walked into the elevator and left for the lobby, leaving a puddle of blood on the wood floor.

A swell of pride came forth in Imoyn when Amy slugged him one in the face. She also had a large, smug smirk on her face as she watched him leave. Oh, how she'd wanted to break several bones in his body just for the slight.

"Stupid male. Why can't they learn their place?"

"When your the master's only son, pride can go to your head. He mean's well in truth but he can't express emotions very well." Amy said as she pulled on her jacket and a pair of sandals.

"But you just have to punch him hard enough to let him know he's stepped out of line."

She quickly went over to the elevator and pushed the button before entering it.

"I'll be right back."

She raised an eyebrow, finding it odd that words of defense were being given to the stupid male. Figuring it really wasn't any of her business, Imoyn stood up and stretched.

"Alright, alright. I suppose I'll clean up the mess he left."

Amy quickly returned to the penthouse, five more boxes in tow. She set them all in the kitchen area and put on of them in her ridge. She pulled out a beer in the process and opened it before gulping half of it down.

By the time she came back, Imoyn had already cleaned up the blood left on the wood floor. She was sitting on the couch again, wondering what time it was as she flipped through the TV channels.
