@Sei: Bi-Monthly Item. Every two months a silver based item goes into a special shop and when it leaves it never comes back.

*smacks hand* I was until the new commons and ARIs (monthly items) came out and then it all went away XD

BMI = Black Market Items
The Black Market is a special shops that sells rare items for a limited period of time. Unlike monthlies, they are sold for silver. Once they are taken out, they never come back.

I got a lot of the really cheap items and one hair item. But I wants more :3 I love the dresses that came out. So lovely and such bright colors.

Yup, lots of lovely new items. You can find a image of some of them in the Announcement thread.

The BMI is super rare only if a few people buy it. I managed to get two of the last one, which I will probably add to my shop soon. I know some members do buy a lot and then sell or trade them later on.

I really hope the ARI's come out today :3

Oh, right. I saw that the new monthly items are generally released on the fifth. I guess I joined at just the right time then XD
Why do you call them 'ARI' though?

Maybe in the future I can be rich and buy myself a few of those BMI's to hoard or something. I'm generally pretty terrible when it comes to making and keeping money on avatar sites. If it isn't items, it's art draining my funds XD

I managed to get some extra silver after I did some artwork for Chu. I usually only buy one of the BMI's anyway. I also got lucky during the event and managed to get lots of gold :3

I got super excited when I saw Cat online. The ARI's probably won't be out till a little later today, but hopefully it will be today.

Ah, ok. I think it's cool that they are called Ancient Relics. It makes me think there's a really in-depth back story somewhere on the site that I haven't run into yet XD

I wonder if I could focus my attention on art long enough to sell a piece or two. I lose interest in drawings rather quickly a lot of the time because I get new ideas that appeal to me more^^; It often takes me quite a while to get around to finishing something if I don't get it finished within a day of starting it.

I'm pretty good with keeping up on a drawing. Generally I like to sketch more than I like to outline and color. I was crazy this last event and did a freebie shop with another user. It was lots of fun and good practice as well ^^

If you can than it would be a good way to gain a few silver here and there.

Well, sketching I can certainly do. It's finishing a piece all the way with color and such that I'm bad about xD
On Crysandrea I have an art thread where all I do is crayon freebie sketches for the most part. It's practice for me and art for the people who keep me company, so it's win/win, right? I do the occasional pencil sketch for my regulars too, but I hardly ever mess with full on commissions because I'm kind of lazy when it comes to art>>

I just can't seem to make myself focus usually.
