[size=85]{Flame Ice Dragons, better known as Paradox Dragons, are a rare species born to parents where one is fire based, and the other ice based, but not always. Sometimes the offspring will be fire, sometimes ice, and occasionally Flame Ice. They tend to look off, usually quite asymmetrical, though their appearance over all can be more icy, fiery, or something completely different. Their body structure can be as varied as everything else about them. The only constant is their breath, they all have the ability to breathe out a thick mist that is somehow both deathly cold and scorching hot at the same time. This mist's color can range from white to blue to red, and anything in between, though it tends to stay in either the 'icy' or 'fiery' colors, usually opposing their overall appearance. More icy looking Paradox Dragons tend to have red, yellow, orange, etc, while more fiery dragons tend to have whites, blues, and purples, there are exceptions, however.}[/size]
Appearance:
[size=85]{He has red scales, with one dark teal eye and one dark gold one. There are two horns on his head, the one on the right side of his head is a black rams horn, the one on the left is black as well, but straight and pointing back. His wings are feathered, not bat-like, with the feathers on the left having black tips, while the right are purely his base color.
The spikes going down his neck, back, and tails alternate between straight and jagged, the straight being pure black, the jagged being an almost-black-but-not-quite grey.
His front legs are different a not immediately noticeable way. One has three black claws, one has four. His back legs are talons, like an eagle's, but with the same differences as the front. One has three, one has four.
He has two tails, the left ending in a dull, dark grey blade, the right ending in a black arrowhead.
He is quite slender, could easily be considered a bit on the small side, and relies on his considerable agility and speed more then his somewhat lacking strength.}[/size]

Personality:
[size=85]{Surprisingly soft-spoken, although when pushed he can be quite vicious, he prefers to not fight whenever possible. He also talks little, and often tries to keep space between himself and others, since he has met few, if any, who stayed around him for long, and keeping them at a distance makes the inevitable departing easier, or so he says. Messing with those that he cares about will often set him over the edge from a kind dragon, to a savage machine that will tear apart a mountain to save a family member or friend.}[/size]
History:
[size=85]{In Malpercio's case, his mother was ice and his father fire. He grew up subconsciously knowing he was different, but not entirely sure why, as his parents treated him no different then the other four hatchlings they had along with him, and his siblings were too young to notice, and once they did they just didn't care. He was their brother and that was that.
It wasn't until he was old enough to start being able to use his breath, a very light, bordering on white, blue in his case, that he truly began to learn the difference. By then it didn't really bother him, though he found that many dragons outside his family were a bit disturbed, not so much by his ability, but his appearance. The obvious lack of symmetry can be a bit off putting at times.
The older he got, however, the more he met others that hated or feared him, or just thought of him as a freak, and he grew to somewhat resent what he was.}[/size]
