| well a past boyfriend used to call me Little Spoon, so i stuck it in my msn name xD also because Spoon is a character in the movie Dog Soldiers that i absolutely adore. its still there now haha! and i have one friend who calls me Spoony because of it x3 also the only jewellery i wear is a necklace that has a mini spoon and fork on it XD i got it from a tiny boutique in Harajuku, i absolutely love it! its a great conversation starter, too :P

| I've always been under the impression that stuff in Japan was expensive. o3o
Maybe it felt so cheap to you since your currency is worth twice as much as mine. xDDD

| ya say that, but we went in the middle of the british recession so our money was worth FA on the exchance rate haha!
but i think generally speaking, £5 is supposed to worth roughly 1,500 yen.
for an example, a train ticket in tokyo to travel for like 10 minutes was less than 300 yen, whereas here itll set you back probably £5 ._. so their travel is dirt cheap as well as a much better service. the most expensive thing i bought was a kimono from the Meiji Shrine, its really beautiful and that only cost me 6000 yen so thats like £20 bargain.

| oh yea, that be true xD if you do ever go to Tokyo tho, you should totally stay where we did the Olympic Memorial Youth Centre. its awesome. the bedrooms and stuff are tiny, but you get a proper japanese bathroom (with the low down shower and a huuuuge deep bathtub to relax in after) and you get breakfast there too its sooooo good xD and its like a 5 minute walk from Harajuku, you have to walk through the Meiji Shrine to get to it and the little bridge where all the cosplayers go ^^ and the train station is right there n its like a 5 minute ride to get to Shibuya where all the massive shops are

| Do you remember how much it was to stay there a night?
Also was it like a hostel with multiple people per room? o3o

| well we went with college, 20 students and 2 teachers. there was 10 girls and 10 boys so we got like a "dorm" each, sorta. the guys were on the ground floor and we were on the 2nd floor, you each had your own little room with bed and stuff, but a shared bathroom. a few toilets and sinks but only one shower/bath room. it worked out pretty well, tho. and like i said breakfast was included.
sooo our trip was for 8 days, so for the flights, coaches and the hostel it was just short of £1000 per person :P

| ohhhh you definitely should, LUF <3 i think anyone would enjoy the trip we had! its just a great area anyway. also, when we were there we went to a restaurant thats on the 5th floor of one of the blocks of the hostel - and while we were up there, there was a giant thunderstorm all over Tokyo! so we got to see all the lightning from way up high, it was incredible!
